1 omega costs $20 or $25 for 500 plex, 2.5 billion in ISK…
but you need a scout looter so 2 omega accts…
Covetor/retriever…might be tanked screw scanning…3-4 omega plus scout/looter… so $80 minimum or 10 billion isk.
ill let you look at the math yourself from here…
and dont forget tagging up can cost at minimum in most cases 150 to 300 million isk per char to go from -4 to 0 sec status in tags and concord fees…
you have no freakin clue what you are talking about for consequences.
are you saying that the consequences are having to pay for subscriptions? im a little lost with what you are pointing out here.
it would need to cost considerably more than that, hence the stacking negative multiplier from from the criminal activity…and i believe i do know about consequences, i can give you the definition if youre having trouble grasping what they are for yourself. as from what i see most of the people who participate in this activity dont “tag up” they sit at negative status unhindered with what they do. and i believe that should change.
you are wrong here, the game itself is behind a paywall. you cannot justify that since you have to pay to play the game via a subscription like everyone else that it can be considered a consequence/punishment for gankers. i will agree that CCP should reduce the subscription fee back to what is was before it was raised. but everyone pays to play, so not considered a consequence.
negative, i disagree, you do not pay out 1.5 billion everytime you gank a retty or whatever the made up costs are for any other ship that gets ganked. the loss to the ganker is in the ship. i believe its 4 catalysts to pop a hulk if im not mistaken, i apologize i dont gank but the loss to that gank would only be the cost of the 4 catalysts, which 95% of the time is covered 5 times over if not more depending on the fit.
so again back to what i said previously, ganking is an essential part of the game, but without having lasting consequences on the ganker, it drives away people who want to play the game differently, where they can spend their time and money on another game they dont have to invest a bunch of time and effort into just to be exploded over and over again without the other party suffering some sort of consequences for their criminal act.
alpha accts are limited on their abilities which is justified as the game itself has always been pay to play, thats not a pay wall “stupid” thats an incentive to try and get new players to try the game without having to pay for it first. im sorry your poverty stricken real life has led you to be a criminal in the game to complain that paying for a subscription is in some way detrimental to ganking trying to justify it as a consequence, maybe get better in your real life so you can afford to do other activities in the game.
T2 fit is around 10-15 mil depending on where you buy your fit. so if youre spending 100mil to gank a ship that you know is only going to drop maybe 20, it explains why you complain about the subscription being a paywall, but ganking hulks is more about spite than profit.
ill keep talking thanks. im not arguing at a disadvantage as we arent debating the financial success / outcomes or weighting the profit vs risk /reward in this topic, i knew you were slow a few posts back from the way you pointed your tone on the subject matter. but youve gone completly off topic to insult me so oh well. the topic and my earlier posts were about why newer players leave the game and then i gave what i feel would be a solution to that problem, and explained the reasoning for why i thought newer players leave. you on the other hand, well i dont know what you were doing. but you responded to me, so i responded back.
1st of all…
I have 354 accts…
i play for free (no RL cash)
I mine a lot
I gank a lot
I do pvp everyday
I am not poor
I build everything i fly
and fly what i build
that includes T1, T2, and T2 and some capital ships, and all indy command ships…
I am more equipped for this topic of conversation than you ever will be…
I have lived in every place EvE has to offer…
I have almost 5 million units of plex…
i make/produce 1 trillion ISK per month without trying…
so now…
here is an insult…
STFU you man child and go play the game because do not know what you are talking about…so sit down and shut up and go get some experience instead of being really really stupid…go educate yourself.
no ? i am playing the game, and to all that boasting you put up…guess what, i dont believe you. anyone with those capabilities ingame would not be mentioning cost of subscriptions to complain about my post of keeping new players by initiating some form of consequences to gankers. and if it is true, cookie? youre probably a poor man with no real life capabilities at all, youre definitely a person with a fragile ego hence why you thought listing out a bunch of imaginary stats as some sort of chest beating would mean something.”pixels on a screen” youre not equipped for anything, you should be able to look in the mirror to figure that out. as far as your insults go, do better cause you suck at it.
if you have that many accounts…jesus, go see the outside cause this has become unhealthy for you.
Can I add that there is no reward system for long time players. After 5, 10, 15, 20 years there should be some sort of reward to work towards but at present CCP just says thank you for your money.
I mean there even is mechanics in it that if you were still omega at the update, you got a titan chevron engraved next to your name:
“To have your character’s name engraved on the monumental expansion, make sure to have an active Omega account on 6 May 2023 (in any time zone), and your character with the highest amount of Skill Points will forever stand alongside the legends of New Eden. If you’re already among those immortalized on the monument, your loyalty for also being an Omega pilot on 6 May 2023 will be additionally honored with a prestigious titan chevron icon on the monument. Also for those already on the monument, you will be given the opportunity to choose which character to use for engraving in case there is a different character you have that has more Skill Points now than 10 years ago.”
It is not about being logged in at a given time, this was the case for other event rewards that were also claimable by alphas if they were loggen in at a certain time.
For the monument it is about having an Omega subscription at specific times, which only happens if you still or again play the game aka “being loyal”.
