Seems like a whole lot of what ifs and a no evidence.
And I do know exactly how this happens. I know the exact process. And judging by the way you’ve been talking about it, it is very evident you actually don’t know. All you want to do is jump on the forums and hijack someones sale post about how AKTUALLY ITS NOT THE ONLY ONE MAYBE!!!.
You at the very least know what the bpc does right?
I only expressed my opinion about OP comparing this ship to Stratios ER. The rest is just replies.
You can read my first post where I state that it is a fine ship no doubt. I don’t dispute the price as well. I just disagree with how its uniqueness has been expressed.
In the end, it is worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
Facts are
It is cleared for sale by GM’s
There is no proof that it is the only one
There is no proof that it is not the only one
By the lack of evidence of any form, suggests that it is very very rare at least. Let’s say, there are 4 of them, like the Raven State Issue, that sold for 3T+ last time it traded hands.
Being a capital ship and the only one for sale in the past 10 years, should at least place it in the same regions. A Molok, of which there are in abundance compared to this and is also a faction Capital is 700b
Yes, I’d be great to know how this got cleared by GMs e.g. if it was explicitly cleared from ToS#23 “You may not exploit any bug in EVE Online to gain an unfair advantage over other players. You may not communicate the existence of any exploitable bug to others directly or through a public forum. […]”.
It’s a normal item. It will not be removed and I can do as I wish with it. The only thing applying here is the capitals in highsec rule which I intend to abide by by jumping it out before a sale happens.
Nothing the GM wrote clarifies that this item will not be altered. The GM states that it is not a decision that the Player Experience team would make.
“If and when” is a non committal response to an admittedly interesting issue. It is not an assurance that the ship will stay a ship and not be converted into a skin.
This is your personal interpretation. My concern are things like ToS#23 “You may not exploit any bug in EVE Online to gain an unfair advantage over other players. You may not communicate the existence of any exploitable bug to others directly or through a public forum. […]”. Based on this ToS rule, selling such ship may be considered getting an unfair advantage due to a bug since every other owner of such ship ended up with a standard rorq hull and a skin. Gaining 2.95T due to a bug is a huge advantage.
On that Note I wish to express my utmost thanks to the GMs that reviewed my case and the appeal being successful. I wholeheartedly support the new direction the Player Experience team wants to take.
Given that the GMs havent said anything along the lines of “you cant sell this, its a bugged item”, doesnt it seem more reasonable to assume theyre fine with it?
