Thanks for coming out and talking about your campaign!
Absolutely and thank you for having me @Kshal_Aideron
What would you do with these?
âShip balancing - Examples of subcaps to revisit; Barghest, Exeq Navy Issue, Cyclone Fleet Issue, Myrm Navy Issue.â
Hey Redus, thank you for the question.
Barghest - I would reduce the missile speed bonus, right now the missiles will âticker tankâ most smart bombs. Additionally i would work on their range with cruises. Contrary to most opinions i think they are âfastâ i donât think the ships themselves are too speedy though.
Exeq Navy Issue - Adjusting this ship (again) could look like a buff to the other navy cruisers around it. Right now i feel the Exeq Navy is still very prominent.
Cyclone Fleet Issue - Reduce its speed and potentially reduce PG on the hull. Right now its a bit of a swiss army knife.
Myrm Navy Issue - I think it isnât being used, the idea of web drones is not enough to make me fly it. I would love to see the Myrm Navy act as a DPS boat with ewar drone capabilities and i think it needs more fitting room to do that.
Rots is one of my oldest friends in EvE. Iâve known him for nearly 15 years. He has always paid his debts, always tries to extend an olive branch as a first resort, and he has always demonstrated capable and responsible leadership. Hes a smart fc, is not afraid to take risks, and shows resilience in the face of loss. I would be proud to help him become an advocate for the player base by joining the next CSM. The mudslingers and maligners can cope, Iâm voting Rots.
never voted for csm before in 13 years of eve nearly. but you got my vote! i like the points your putting up. veel succes!
Thank you, and glad you came out to vote!
Solid well communicated platform, very happy to give you my vote and endorsement.
Thank you!
My EvE career has latley been spotty, due to my expansion of IRL responsibilities and personal endeavors. I met Rots originally through Mokey during our initial run of Vindictive, some 10 years ago. It seems my run-ins with him continue to this day on and off.
Rots was always quieter and an extremely calm person, during his FC tenure, meetings, and during personal discussions. He takes decisive action when it is warranted, and holds his cards close when he it is inopportune. This does not mean he is incapable of setting someone directly straight. I have been on the receiving end of this, as Rots calls his hothead pilots, I am one such person. I have little respect for authority, always have, always will. Rots will take calm discussion and listen to parties, and deliver his judgement unapologetically. I can admire this about himself.
This is not to mean that he is not a humorous individual. We have plenty of soundboards of Rots yelling âBEHOLD MY WARP TUNNELâ and âwe will be sneaky and touch their buttsâ when leading a bombing fleet or two. He is our resident Jedi, balanced in all things.
Much like his balanced persona, Rotsâ experiences are also varied, in leading both large and small alliances, not exclusively on a military scale, but also logistical and industrial. Furthermore, his connections to others becomes apparent at each of our turns of events. The opportunities he finds available to ourselves sometimes astounds me. If anything is to be said about him, he is likeable and diverse. His discourse with AlexJones above I think is a perfect example of his mentality of thinking, and his Out of the Blue (pun intended) thinking.
His thoughts on CSM and his ability to balance his own thoughts should prove invaluable and a breathe of fresh air. If we are to see further focus within this game, maybe it is time to stop listening to the same old voices.
Thanks Tempest!
Thanks Zeke
Some very valid points in this thread - +1
Thanks @keacte
Rots, how u feel like about the local blackout, maybe perhaps bringing it back?
last time it was in game, i enjoyed it, but i know majority of player base didnt so just wondered what are ur thoughts about making local less reliable as a tool.
Thx
Im asking all CSM candidates
Fighting against toxicity is a strong case, as it comes with the territory of gaming -everywhere-
However. How would you handle a hypothetical stalemate wherein both parties are believe the other to be toxic, but only one party can really be telling the truth.
But then again, truth is based on the perspective of the perceiver.
How would you handle this?
I would be open to it again.
People are entitled to their opinions, thatâs democracy.
I donât know what the goal of this question is, but people will be toxic, letting that effect the work of the CSM would be something i would strongly work against.
Game wise, its unavoidable. Undock and fight about it.
Good answer⌠Leave it in game, where it belongs.
Ieave IRL things out of the game. where it belongs.
100% agree, thanks for the question.
