A copy of a mail from Callisto Menkalinan to Intaki-Business Logistics Union pilots encouraging them to contribute to the defence of Intaki as part of the Union’s contract with the Intaki Space Police may have been quoted by some media outlets in the Syndicate and Placid area as part of their coverage of the invasion of Intaki by the Triglavian Collective. The mail appears likely to have been leaked by multiple I-BLU pilots disgruntled by the interruption to their normal operations proposed by Mlle. Menkalinan.
One report speculates that the invasion could be linked to the deal announced recently between the Intaki Space Police, Serpentis Corporation and Gallente Customs, bemoaning the Federation’s complicity in criminal interference with Intaki’s security.
Another article applauds the deal and welcomes an enhanced presence of Syndicate aligned forces in the area, accusing both the Federal Government and the Intaki Assembly of apathy and negligence in the face of the Lai Dai incursion only a year ago and the continued absence of a security franchisee for the Intaki system.
A third focuses on the announced deployment of Sorn Interstellar forces in the area although the coverage focusses more on Ms. Federation herself than the military details and speculates suggestively on her penchant for ‘Intaki culture’.
