A buy order of mine went through yesterday, but two others didnt even though the price history shows sales below my (and other peoples) buy order price. All the buy orders that sold yesterday as well as most of the remaining orders are higher then the tables low price and the graphs little median dot.
So, do people sometimes use ‘sell immediate’ to sell to a lower price sometimes? Maybe just to quickly move volume? I know I pay higher prices sometimes just to get everything in one transaction. Its either something like that or something Ive learnt isnt quite right.
im not a trader, so i generally sell immediate, even though i have outstanding, standings with Jita.
but i tend to reprocess since it costs me zero isk, and whatever is left over i’ll take to jita and sit on it, then sell immediate when i hit a certain amount of isk…
Hmm… So my buy range is 40 jumps, a seller needs the item within that range. Anyone within 40 jumps should be able to make the sale, right? Either that or Im in the wrong area
Im re-reading through market skills, and from what I can tell any seller would have to be in the same region, and would only be able to see the same buy orders I can, right?
That just means you are willing to travel to pick up the bought goods.
You see all buy orders in the region, but only the green buy orders work in the current station.
But it also can be a simple problem with sorting or filters.
Yeah… So I still dont get whats happening here. Looking at yesterdays history and current orders, same thing but more extreme.
The high matches most buy orders, the low is way below most and the days median is also way below most of the buy orders. Then the volume tells me most of these orders should have been filled.
Do you mind telling us what you buy where (or another example which shows that behaviour)?
