Security status effects tethering

The thing is, these people will never be satisfied. We are already seeing the crying in low sec.

“Reeee, you stupid pleb, I’m not part of faction warfare! How dare you blow me up you noob. Reeeee! You can’t make it in null sec with all the real pvpers… yadda yadda yadda…”

Mark my words, within a years time people like [redacted] and [redacted] will be forum white knighting for the removal of pvp in low sec. Making claims that “PvP was never intended for all of low sec. Just faction warfare.” Then pulling data from that failed mobile Echo’s mess and passing comments from CCP as their “absolute evidence.”

Every game has its peak. EvE was 8 years ago. Shame I wasn’t there.

So, I’ll adapt. I’ll shoot those entitled crybears when they venture into low and receive all their death threats and curses for blowing up their mining barge in low sec.

Mm true. I may just start roaming low near missions hubs in something to blap people with

There were not that many for sale in the first place…cheapest negotiator tags being at Tama for 24m ISK. I bought a number of them…I doubt enough to affect the price. I don’t need the lowest level ones ( for getting from -10 to -8 I think it is ) and will happily sell them cheaply. I think I have several of those at the Concord Bureau at Goinard.

Bookmarked to revisit at a later date perhaps less than a year though seeing that you are marking your words. :zipper_mouth_face:

Frostpacker doesn’t hide, if I decide to antigank it will be this pilot. I have shot at safety more than a few times in Uedama.

Not really. Personally I only ever use T2 Catalysts anyway…11m ISK. Because the cost of clone solider tags and Concord fee is not just for one gank but for up to about 10 to 12, that brings the total cost per gank up to about 19m ISK. Which is peanuts when one has billions…and as I always intended to keep my status above -2.5 anyway there is really no change for me.

Sorry to disappoint you !

Not only that, but I’ve noticed in my corp home system I don’t even have to do any ganking anyway. Merely showing up in a Catalyst every now and then chases non corp miners away for a while.

The other thing, is that killing clone soldiers also give a pretty good bump in security status as well. I went from -10 back to 0 in about a week just farming the tags and not even using them. So I got a little stash hidden away.

But I guess if we won’t be allowed to shoot at MTU’s and steal loot in high sec anymore, there is no real reason for me to fix my security status back to 0 to do those activities.

I used to trade clone soldier tags…one of the places was Vittenyn and I think you bought one of them maybe 6 months or so ago when they were 18m ISK or so. With the prices increasing…I should have carried on that business. Even with sales tax, I could make quite a profit buying tags at some stations and selling them at others. But there were never really huge numbers of them on the market anyway.

I likewise have a stash hidden away.

We all have. What is worth now?

That is possible. Though I tend to farm my tags around the Lasleinur system.

Oh, I know what it was. It was for Union day. i participated in an RP celebration parade in New Caldari and my sec status was a tad too low. And I didn’t want to mess about with grinding my security status for just one day.

I never said anything about PVE nor did i ever say that nerfs to PVE are good. Don’t put words in my mouth.

read that.

I saw a handful of negotiator tags still remaining at Tama for 24m ISK or so…but as Vokan says the average price is now between 30 - 50 million. Six months ago they were just 18m ISK. However, the single largest part of getting status back is still the Concord fee.

Got to chk my inventory then.

Maybe its time to start farming them again, and then farming the peeps trying to farm them

Im assuming you mean us, with the USIA. Standings with corps/factions we can certainly do. Standings with trigs we cannot, and we cannot help with security standings.

Tags or fighting pirates in hisec are two ways to raise sec status.

Tags were a buff to ganking, previously people had to go to low sec or NPC nullsec to grind their security status up. I hope that they do not change spawn rates for tag rats, because there needs to be a break on this type of ganking and an increased cost so target selection becomes more important.

All CCP has to do is apply the docking ban to NPC stations, enable facpol to attack those that are on a tether and leave structures to their owners to decide on who can dock. That would be the sensible approach.

Right. New players are dumb beasts who live in caves without running water or internet, unable to access ten-year-old articles about EVE, the CSM, Brisc’s story about being banned for “insider” something-or-another…
It’s obvious how you see other people, princess. You truly are royalty.
But the rest of us live in the real world, y’know, with internet connections and information at our fingertips.
And if you think that was a “strong opinion” you need to get out more.

I think you’re forgetting that the cost of tags is going to go up. I don’t suppose you’ve actually done a lot of ganking as I can’t see you really wanting to keep throwing ISK away on unprofitable ganks in large numbers.

That is not what was being said, without having knowledge of the Candidate, who they are or what they stood for before that Candidate decided to place their name in the hat. A Capsuleer even a newer one would not have a strong opinion about voting for any CSM.
