Security status effects tethering

.

You can’t even recognize humour when you read it.

I give up on you.

Uh huh.

No worries bruv. We know you meant it. And we also know you take these pixels waaay too seriously.

It’s ok bro.

As I said, I pity you

.

Who’s we ?
And you’re a pretty sad person who can’t tell banter from insult.

Heh. I like how you’re frantically trying to gas light to get your way out of it.

You got my pity bro. Imagine being a grown adult and acting this way ROFL.

And not even brave enough to sling these kinds of things with your main LOL.

Get my way out of what, your hate? There’s no way out of it, even you are trapped in it, everyday badgering another forum member. Are you not ashamed of yourself?

Of course they have, else they would not find you so fast anywhere in the system. Its even absolutely obvious, you can test it yourself. They find you!

Whats stupid question is that? They only enforce the Law. The Law never said that any Outlaw must be arrested. The Law said that any Outlaw in Highsec-Space in a ship must be hunted down and his ship be destroyed. And thats exactly what they do.
If you think thats a stupid Law, please file a complaint to the government authorities. [aka make the suggestion that FacPol should tackle Outlaw’s Pods in space and forcefully transport them or any docked Outlaw capsuleer in Highsec in his clone to a Prison Facility. After some years he might undock or clonejump again. Maybe CCP likes the idea.]

That would be indeed logical, but I say no. I enjoy the fact that these changes are denying a content for AG. Lets keep it that way lol.

Yes the nerfs or rather tank buffs might be before tether but it is related. Someone might have been hunting battleships at that time with say his 3 accounts and after the nerf he had to either increase number of the accounts he is multiboxing or most likely switched his frocus to other ships that can be only killed with 3 accounts → miners. Then even those got buffed as well. And these players were forced to double up their accounts and start using tether. hmm not sure I explained myself well, let see if you get my point

What’s wrong with you? Multiple trips? You using a deep space transport or blockade runner or something?

Noob.

Get yourself a freighter, and slowboat all your assets on autopilot in a single trip. That’s how the real traders do it.

Noooo! I moved 8 ships and hundreds of millions of ISK of stuff deliberately in 8 trips just for the sheer hell of ‘come gank me if you can’ . I wanted the excitement of the risk. The act of defiance.

I could have had a corp mate transport the whole lot in a Bowhead…but where would the excitement have been in that ?

This is what the anti ganking fools just don’t grasp.

Nope LOL

It’s ok tho. You got all the pity bruv

Noob.

When I fly my freighter, all the gankers dock up. Or self destruct.

Get gud scrub.

Why aren’t you badgering me? That’s just not fair.

So today tether is finally disabled. From my experiences, this is what it causes:

  1. Can’t park my ship as a criminal anywhere in highsec now

So my original target was able to dock before I got there and as a criminal I had to keep warping around insside the system and jumping elsewhere looking for a new viable target for 1 ship. After 10 minutes I had to leave my ship to die to facpo as I couldn’t keep it any longer and had to go piss. This is very fun gameplay indeed as due to facpo you can’t stay anywhere longer than 5 seconds, not even behind mission acceleration gates they magically appear there out of nowhere too.

This really forces us to just gank new players under 30 days mining in ventures or autopilotting in rookie ship/capsule. I normally avoid killing them, but with these changes, if my original target escaped, the choice between flying to nearest lowsec that can be very far and gate camped, and killing a non profitable target is clear to me and I choose the latter.

  1. Without tether large ganking fleets are impossible without positive security status.

The coordination with other players in large fleets 30+ chars, 5+ players is basically impossible. If one player makes a mistake and forget to undock his alt(s) or whatever and the fleet then lacks dps, the gank is essentially failed. This just promotes playing alone without cooperatin with other players and just multibox more accounts. I would say this was the real goal of CPP.

So overall this promotes more accounts to be paid, all alpha accounts used for some lulz 1man ganking must be now paid, and if you want to gank fat targets like freughters you now have to do it all alone maybe except finding the target and looting the victim.

EDIT: I don’t consider ratting security status back for days nor tags a legimitate way to address the loss of docking and tether. Not for a large fleet gankers who are after freighters, the cost of so many tags that is needed or time to fix their security status, not profitable to gank anymore. Ratting really doesn’t make a sense for anyone who is multiboxing.

I think you are supposed to just quit the game. CCP doesn’t care.

Yes!
Faction Police spawns inside dead space pockets since as far as I can remember.

CCP doesn’t make sense when saying that killing valueless stuff is griefing while removing the tether that greatly dimishing your capacity of finding a “valid” target (whatever that is)

What CCP did is destroying the capacity of using a large fleet and is forcing gankers to go after valueless targets that is “griefing”…

I won’t get tired of repeating that this update was for helping the big haulers

Faction Police should be removed within 350 from player stations and pocos, let the antigankers be the police around player structures… let the npc police be the police around npc stations, gates and the other places

Indeed, for each ganker who unsubs, a 100 happy carebears will sub. So CCP will make more money and that is the goal right?

The last I heard, CCP developers were not allowed to gank on their Eve accounts. So, all of their knowledge is secondhand and they have no idea how fun it is (was?).

Between you and me, we know thats never gonna happen.

I was planning going big in the gank in 2023 and stop doing the tiny stuff with random alts… but now with this update I’m feeling really lazy about it… there’s other games in the market

My sub ends in April, but… yawwn… were’s the desire to undock?

If you play with an alt that has a fleet hangar, you can warp and store your ship in the fleet hangar and then reboard it later on.

Not my experience, but ok.

Nurn Jita for example goes off fine, with fleets of people many of whom never gank prior to joining a burn jita event. These worked just fine prior to tether.

WIthout tether it will take a while to adjust to the older pre-tether practices, but they worked fine then and will do so again.
