Tbh a ā€œKill boardā€ style site for other activities wouldnā€™t be a bad idea.

PVP kills arnt the only thing a person can brag about after all. Yeah some of you might not care about the achievements of others , Iā€™m pretty sure they donā€™t care about your kill boards either but each to their own.

For those not in the loop, online games are never as secure as your local bank or underwear drawer. If you plan to buy something in game, I recommend using a VISA gift card or ask your bank for a temporary VISA number to cover your purchase. They set it up so only the amount of cash can be extracted from your account and nothing more. They are also more than willing, in most cases, to investigate the seller and get your money back for online scams.

Clearly this leak was not that severe and all of you, with your real bank accounts linked to Fenris, can take a breath now.

Thanks for the write up. I trust Visa to be secure. They replace your money if they make a mistake. CCP should probably worry more about what visa thinks about them having security issues that require intervention.

Spear phishing attacks arenā€™t uncommon already, i mean knowing that i have x ISK in my wallet doesnā€™t really help the person trying to compromise my account, they donā€™t have access to it and iā€™m long in the tooth enough not to just buy random contracts

But yeah seems like i found one of their alts in my wallet log, not that i care about them knowing how much liquid ISK i have, most of my net worth is in assets and PLEX not raw ISK anyway
