The new wormholes look awesome. The sounds are very cool, even paranormal, nice work.

And the new ambient sound when you have a scout sitting on them for a while is enough to cause a psychotic break !!
The old sound wasn’t too bad except it was a little bit too calming after a while so we had to keep checking the scout was still awake :rofl:

While off the release, I dont suppose we could get a symbol on the login screen to say PI inactive.

With the first announcement of changes I began to train to Cyno V on 2 characters so that I would still be able to use my newly acquired jump freighter. I feel like I wasted so much training time.

TBH bumping straight up wrecks my immersion anyways, so any new feature that cuts down on its use as a tactic is A OK in my book.

you have to wonder why limited DEV resources are wasted on fitting windows and useless UI changes when the game has broken stuff and needs things that enhance gameplay. Just wondering who is making these critical decisions

Suppose some features are so deep-fried in the code that it’s hard, if not impossible, to modify. Take the missions for example, no way to get them reworked.

the real reason that DEVs aren’t working on meaningful stuff is because they are in Berlin, Vegas , and continuing their End of EVE world tour

I’m a returning player so pls don’t bit my head off if Im unaware of something. I’ve been skilling recon to blops since I’ve been back and now this happens…
Is there a deployable cyno, or would this be a thing that could be done for the survivability of recons and covert ops that would get in drop it and try to escape before they die. In a similar way that bombs are released and you warp out.

not sure why… There needs to be a smaller version of the Charon but bigger than the Orca so that you can move your supplies around.

There also there needs to be new mining ship which has a bigger hold than the Mackinaw.

I would also like to see some more ships where you can add cloaks too.

CCP has released new ships but they are mainly for PVP and PVE

With the changes of blackout and the heavy handed cyno nerf… is nullsec even worth the effort it takes to live in? Not really. I can go to highsec right now and make more isk than a super rating with abyssals and burners. The startup capital required for this risk free venture is a micro fraction of what a super would run you. let’s not even talk about nullsec’s huge overhead price in isk, infrastructure, man hours, and logsticial networks. WH groups got nothing on the sheer amount of effort null blocs have to put in let alone some alpha account newb in HS.

You guys at CCP use to hammer home the idea that this game was all about risk vs rewards but as I see it right now there is no reason to live in nullsec outside of playing with the big toys… and you really only need one keepstar for that.

You removed player run casinos but didn’t bother to add your own version of them with citadels. This was a huge missed opportunity for great content that has already proven to be loved by your playerbase. If you had set them up like somner blink did the house would always profit making them a huge isk sink. Content, isk sink, what more do you want?

Re, in game casinos. Are you aware of the various laws proposed or set up by most countries in the last year that puts some very tight regulations on in game gambling? CCP just did some proper planning to avoid future litigation.

Oh please enlighten me how a virtual currency that has no outlet outside a video game can be taxed and regulated. Is the next Bethesda Fallout not going to have slot machines? Is the next CD Projekt Red’s Witcher not going to have GWENT betting?

These releases are part of politic “how to kill prettily the game in half year?” or I dont understand something? You cut the local chat in null-sec, online start decrease, and almost no exist pvp in null-sec. Now you cut the logistic, moving of goods will be slowly and less effective, and the capitals turn to useless completely but, skills learning takes half year for them. Online will continue to fall. But graphical effects will good (*irony). What is the next step? Start delete inactive accounts or loot of them for clear database and rise game performance for the common good? I won’t be surprised at anything_ what the suck idea you will have in further 3 months for continuous this demented politic.

Well, if i understand their thinking correctly, since isk can be purchased through buying PLEX using real world money, it creates an avenue where people with addictive personalities may then foster a gambling habit by funneling RW money into a game to support their gambling desires, creating possible RW problems.

Not saying I’m agreeing with them, just that this is how they may be considering the issue.

The only time I’ve ever used a cyno was to test how it worked, I am glad that it is now a module active pilots on expensive ships have to use unlike alt accounts on Ibis’s. Although I feel this change is a little bit extreme I was hoping cynos would become a Battleship exclusive module with Force recons and Blacks ops having its fitting cost reduced by 99%.

That would be a stretch. Plex isn’t a lootbox or a gacha. It has a clearly defined purpose/outcome, and the purchaser understands that. If he decides to drop his ISK from the plex into a player run casino citadel that’s not CCPs problem.
