Sorry, not ginger… and I do not think that mean comments against Ginger adds to the discussion.
How would that look like? Sellling a Google Docs Sheet with random names and Numbers?
I am programming (not even selling yet) a service, that updates your ingame contacts, with the in my Eyes most dangerous Gankers. Yes, i have claimed to detect all Ganks in the product description… But i next sentence i also explained where i get my data from.
If you really insist, i will take this as feedback and change the wording for ya
@Triumvir_Roland I had a talk with someone called Lee Deer about anti-gank activities (didn’t know, someone is actual doing that), after that i had to update the code to prevent false positive detection. As long as you are only attack people flagged as criminal, you won’t end up on my list.
Let me put it differently. What does this offer that the GUI doesnt already? Can it detect the likely hood of being ganked by someone who hasnt ganked before? Can it detect the people who dont show up in local?
The OP want to offer a service that works like the intel used in 0.0. The issue is that he is missing all the other parts that makes the intel work in 0.0 (scouts nearby systems, intel channels, defense fleets, yadda yadda, etc…) .
Not to mention that 0.0 operates in NBSI a.k.a neutral means hostile. If you make the same assumption for highsec then you don’t need to set gankers red to begin with.
AG do gank ganker scouts, they are not criminal at least in terms of the games mechanics. It might be advisable to remove those that gank frigates that have a cargo and ship scanner onboard.
And Im telling you that you are purposefully overlooking that fact EVERYONE is a potential enemy and the gank that kills you is the one you dont see coming.
You are literally trying to sell tiger-repellant rocks.
Btw your bias is showing. Im telling you this as a miner and hauler.
If you think Im a ganker, your detector needs recalibration.
