I am not sure if your customer experience team is just blowing me off but they said I should post this information here as well from ticket (2716789)
To the developers-
As a new player trying to learn the ropes that just don’t get covered in AIR or anywhere else for new folks. The lack of upfront visual warnings for Pirate insurgency stuff when a system gets corrupted to level 5 is abysmal (not abyssal)..abysmal. A little triangle on a route I have taken time and again (using basic information) is just not going to cut it.
I just got yanked (ganked) out of warp by an interdiction bubble that SHOULD NOT EXIST. It is clear via the game mechanics own information that interdiction bubbles are not allowed/do not operate in lo sec. Discovering this core rule is completely thrown out because of some high level expansion mechanic with no obvious aggressive warnings on the screen is beyond frustrating. A bait and swtich, full stop. A tiny triangle is absolutely inadequate when juxtaposed with the impact of the mechanic change.
Why are you forcing players who aren’t interested or really too new to participate in this to lose their ships, work, time? Do you realize what a disincentive this is to continue on subscribing and participating? It absolutely ruins it. When the rules change this significantly out of nowhere the UI needs to overtly notify you, not have a little triangle on a route which I am sure many, many like me would have absolutely no clue what this actually means, if it is even noticed. I lost a ship where I absolutely should not have. I get losing ships is just part of things and that is fine but not like this, not when you just change the whole basis mechanic of what lo sec is because of some hostile esoteric expansion that should be off to the side for veterans or others who understand it and want to engage with it. For your new or average player it is a slap in the face.
I hope you will consider adding clear unassailable warnings before anyone even initiates a warp or enters these systems.
thanks
