Shadow of Purity

Tell you what: Bring all your ships, including your ‘Titan and capitals’ that appears to be a single Revelation, down to Sakht, in Aridia.

When you get there, message me, and we’ll see about getting you a fight.

As… crude… as this back and forth may be, I must admit that Madam Kalaratiri has the upper hand in logic, despite what she lacks in tact.

I admittedly know little about Amarr culture, but I know that open heresy against the Empress and denial of the result of the Succession Trials - of which were apparently viewed by God himself - is akin to something only four entities have ever committed, and lived, if such a term could be considered “living”.

The Blood Raider Covenant, whose name need only mention to call about their infamy and storied history. The Equilibrium of Mankind, who though few in number are likely even more extreme in method than the Covenant. The Khanid Kingdom, of whom only recently restored their honor with any degree of fullness in the eyes of those holy Amarr…

… and one Max Singularity, whose eccentricities know no bounds.

To claim that the Empress of the Empire is not yours and openly attack - fruitlessly, I might add - her royal escort, is likely a form of heresy on par with the listed entities. Thus, I question what value comes from this public display, if for any reason than a hamfisted attempt to garner support AGAINST Empress Catiz, who thus far has proven a powerful, if progressive leader.

… but then, I inquire what support one can expect for such a prodigious feat…

Angry Amarr strikes again, Hel its hitting the point I’d show up and third party on that. I’m using that term loosely because I really dont want to share a killmail with such a dishonorable opponent. I would rather simply share with PIE on one than you. My number one enemy. Let that sink in.

See? And so many argue that we cannot find common ground.

Remember that thing a few months back about mutually “taking care of each others trash” (Think it involved blood raiders at the time)? I think an enemy that kills its own counts as trash in my book.

Why thank you.

Why aren’t you dead yet?

That was a controversial statement then. Walking in someone’s shoes can deform your foot. Lets say they spot this SKIN and learn about purists, this ideology can then appeal to them.

Ancient Amarrians purged the imperfections from society, banishing heretics, not wearing their symbols. Imagine now Amarr cyberknigth sporting a cloak with Blood Raider Covenant symbol on it. That would be heresy!

Or maybe Empress wants Purists attitide to be a force in Amarr society somehow?

That would lead only to more controversies and chaos! Well, if you ask me, good! Let them do as Empress commands.

Why am I not surprised showing up wearing the skin of your enemies is a thing? I mean, it’s a “civilization” based on slavery and religious indoctrination, so why not go for the rest of the barbaric traits? Creepy damn people.

Yeah, it’s way more civilized to just splatter everybody in a given cubic kilometer up against the bulkheads a nanosecond before blowing those bulkheads out into near-vacuum, watch the pretty explosion, collect a nice, sterile, abstract bounty, and dock up for a nice dinner with a glass of wine.

Leaving the enemy war banner where it lies doesn’t reduce the violence done to those around it. I thought you rather liked those who took unflinching pride in their cause, and what they’d done for it?

Killing an enemy and taking pride in it is indeed worthwhile. Draping their flag (and/or skin) around you and prancing around in it isn’t just morbidly disgusting, it’s outright weird. What’s next, fronting the Blooders maybe? Paint some nice Blooder symbols on the ship, after killing some of them?

It’s not just barbaric, it’s weird.

Next? Uh. No.

The “Cold Iron” SKIN (not to be confused with SKINs bearing actual Raider regalia) is another set of war trophies, this time a nanite configuration that gave certain Blood Raider squadrons invisibility to certain sensors for a while, about this time last year. … a pretty short while. Like, until CONCORD recalibrated everybody’s sensors a bit, which happened like six hours after they first appeared. They’re a lovely, not overly-shiny, matte black.

Sani Sabik stuff is … looked at with a little more suspicion than Purity stuff, though. It’s pretty universally agreed that flying Sani Sabik regalia outright is way too close to declaring yourself one (it’s not like they’d necessarily shrink from hunting each other, after all). I gather PIE bans Cold Iron for that reason, but Cold Iron stuff doesn’t replace the Amarrian insignia, so SFRIM’s okay with it.

It probably won’t surprise you to learn I own a full subcapital set: some I acquired myself, some the Praefecta sent me as a gift. It’s pretty nice: I actually can get my ships to dress the way I do!

It’s a little sad, though: all that work that must have gone into coming up with this coating, and the most visible lasting effect at least in my own life is that I now have a personal regalia for any Amarrian subcap.

… well … other than like the Legion and stuff that wasn’t around at the time.

How is it hypocritical:

Holy ?
Even such as:
Heideran VII - Was not with the title holy.
Doriam II - Was not with the title holy.
Jamyl I - Even she was not with the title holy.

How can you live among such hypocrisy? Do not you notice how they spit on your past ?

For what ? For which she received the title of Holy ?
What did she do ?
God punish them all. Because they defile memory. For the fact that they buy the titles of saints for money. Be you damned !!!

She is the Empress of Amarr so therefore Holy by definition, you dolt. In Her wisdom she has chosen to be known using this title that is available to her.

Who else was a saint in the History of Amarr ?
Although who called himself a saint ?
For all history, no one has borne such a title in his lifetime.
What are you hypocrites. You see for yourself that she bought herself a title. With blind fanatics so hard.

Vollhov, you once spoke out against the efforts of my brothers and sisters for submitting a line of discourse to the public. Now you conduct yourself in a similar, albeit in a less than righteous manner. You prove to be as hypocritical as the others.

Perhaps it was my older brother.

And if I spoke against you. If there was a conversation about Jamyl Sarum. Or rather: the right to the throne. Since she was elected by the god himself !!!

Neither, it was preaching the blasphemous path God’s children had chosen.

At this point, I feel that it would be funny to remind people of the fact that the Ardishapur family have produced not only the Empire’s greatest theological scholars, but also the greatest heretics.
Such as Ocilan Ardishapur, First Grand Master of the Equilibrium of Mankind.

And of course the enigma that is Saint Tetrimon, who was of the Ardishapur family, who became a saint by striking down the Usurper, who rose in rebellion against the legitimate Emperor of the time. The Usurper’s name is lost to history, but some say the Usurper was also a member of the Ardishapur family.

So now we have Ilan Ardishapur. Not the first capsuleer heretic member of the Ardishapur family, there have been others in the past. That means you Koronakesh.
