How about a new ship module that gives the equipped ship an ore cargo hold (perhaps a rig slot) so miners might go to spicy parts of space and not just be victims . Just a handfull of ships can reasonably be mined with as is and considering CCP claims it to be a backbone of the game it needs some variety and even some kind of pay adjustment as it requires a long time as well

Prospect cant defend itself it appears we missed the point of the post
No ship using such a ‘module’ you want can and still be efficient in mining.

so the prospect isnt suppose to deffend its self most ships even a blinged out skiff wont stand a chance if it caught anymore because the fact that people roam in 5+ people and its very strong ships they run with and itll kill whatever they are going after unless its a bait and then even then from my exsperince even the bait still dies.
also more on the prospect if im not mistaken the prospect is a ninja miner. ninja miners are ment to go in grab and take off. also if im not mistaken the prospect also is a cyno ship that people use to go and do hot drops with.
