Ship (tree) group/classes - special bonus question

SO ive been looking to see if i can figure out the answer with google. so far no luck on finding an answer.

SO here it is .. if you look at the ship tree. Its 1st major group is empire, then its broken into ship categories. For example: ORE > Mining Barge (3 ships listed). If you highlight Mining barge You see the skill required listed as Mining Barge. Under which it states .. in purple
Train this skill to gain unique bonuses to the ships in this group.

Is there something that lists what those unique skills are? Or is it just unlocking lower branches in the category?

You have to look at the ship hull info to see the unique bonuses (not skills) accorded by that particular skill.

AHHH BLAST .. I misread that per ship completely. It makes MUCH more sense now.
