Shooting player’s spaceships in EvE is not toxic behavior

Note how in the talk about the new Chinese server, it’s always “implementing something like that for TQ” instead of making an alternative Western server with the same kind of rule set.

It was never about giving these players the ability to “play in a safe area” or whatever; it’s always been about the abolition of open-world PvP games that these people believe shouldn’t exist at all, for anyone. This is why they aren’t playing EVE Echoes, which is barely staying alive with a population of a few thousand at this point, even though it has exactly what they’re looking for.

If you actually made any genuine points they’d be refuted. But you are long on words and very short on actual substance. There’s a huge amount of padding ( stuff that doesn’t contain any actual evidential facts ) in most of the posts from your side of the fence…almost as if you know there really isn’t much to say except repeat the same whine over and over and its easier to cover it all in detritus than post the same one sentence again and again and again.

You clearly do.

I have other things to attend to

For someone who doesn’t care what any of us think…

…you sure go to great lengths to convince us.

Meanwhile, you fail to do the one thing that might convince anyone, which would be to post on an actual character that isn’t a do-nothing alt.

Unfortunately, Altara was responding to a post that suggested that shooting a player in lowsec was now rationalised as not how to retain new players:

It’s not just “nerf one playstyle”. There are posts in the forun all the time suggesting pvp be removed or restricted by CCP or self-moderated by the player base, beyond just “remove ganking”.

LOL. Yea, cause they like grinding in absolute safety.

That other thread that was mostly trolled here was started by a Chinese dude. Of course they want total safety in high sec cause it makes them IRL money LOL.

Someone seems a little emotional

Heh. I always cackle when you try to stand up on your pedestal after your deletefest ROFL.

Imagine being like this ROFL.

Yennoe you seem to talk a lot for the noobs without actually playing with them

Oh, so now we’re blamed for this too huh?

You got any proof or

Bro, he’s hardly threatening you. You seem a bit sensitive bruv

Yea, cause you lack any depth of experience with MMOs LOL.

Lol…you care SO much about harrassment in Eve that you follow me out to some system and start harranguing me in local chat.

He doesn’t actually want a fight, though. He just wants to troll Cilly by throwing away an inconsequential ship on an inconsequential character so that he can mock her with comments about how she’s “so skilled” and is an “elite PvPer” because she “killed a low-skilled alt in a throwaway ship” instead of “picking a real fight” with a “real PvPer.”

I’ve seen carebears try to pull off this reversal many times, and can spot it from a mile away. It’s the “you’ve already stabbed me, so why don’t you twist the knife too” sensationalist trolling angle they use to attempt to try to convince themselves to be proud of their self-adopted victimhood.

If you truly want a KB mark so bad, you can get one quickly by following this easy guide:

  1. travel to jita
  2. buying a mammoth
  3. putting cargo expanders in the low and cargo rigs
  4. buy Plex and LSI’s
  5. put them in the mammoth
  6. undock
  7. press control+spacebar
  8. wait

It’s reported that people that have followed the above steps have been more active than you.

Or just put an alt in a Venture and kill them. Some people take the idea of getting killmarks to the extreme though:

Sidetrack, what is @Adrian_Vexier doing here?

The only reason I noticed this is because the character died to Adrian 25 times in a Venture this year also, but beyond simple padding (which Adrian doesn’t seem to need as he kills plenty anyway), what’s the advantage of killing masses of corvettes?

If you want to pad your board so badly, you can always kill one of your own alts.

I’m sure that getting that one frigate kill in the year of our lord 2022 is going to transform you into the epitomical “active player” and make not a soul question your dedication to spending time actually playing this game.

its so easy to get fights

pick a yellow loot in jita or amarr

or for example

yesterday i was
ohhhh i will get my ass kicked in this arena
its hard for me to do it because I’m solo solo and if its not 1v1 i usually cant join
my ass got kicked indeed
but it was a blast

btw people don’t believe me, even nowadays
you can sit in a plex for 15 minutes in low sec and the pew come

Maybe he was just trying to bury the shame:

Huh, I guess ganking must not be a problem in the game, then! Next topic!
