should there be ORE patrol ships that would protect ventures or skiffs or what ever that faction uses to mine. the talos discerption mentions that it was going to be a patrol ship
You should shoot the npc mining fleets stealing your ore. If you don’t the’ll clean out the belt.
Surely protection for Ventures, barges, etc, already exists in the form of joining mining fleets. Nobody has to mine alone. There’s no end of fleets out there. What’s more, such fleets can hand out compression ability for Ventures in the vicinity…a big bonus every Venture should make use of.
Because ORE is a mining company.
You are playing an MMO. Get friends. That’s how you protect your mining fleet…
How about some ORE SKINs for existing combat ships.
That would be easily doable and could look cool all fleeted up.

No because ORE is a mining corp who has hired other groups to patrol AND attack their enemies their operations. This clashes with the lore.
Also the skill tree is completely different, how will you branch the tree?

two sperate trees one for the ships that they rent out or sell for patrols and the other tree with the miners
Does JCB make Tanks?
Does John Deer make Fighter Jets?
Does Caterpillar make Battleships?
Ore specializes in Mining machinery… let the military manufacturers specialize in fleet protection ships.
