In an attempt to streamline a bit the design of Imicus avoiding a complete redesign, I tried to lower a bit the position of engines, placing them closer to the center of the ship.
The images I have created are simple photoshop makeup, just to give a rough idea.
Another small change could be lowering the position of crew compartment, but I did not try yet.
Basically the idea is evolution, not revolution : keeping the asymmetrical design with wing on the left and the overall “lambda shape” of the whole ship is important for me.
Version 2 of this post : engines moved not only in lower position, but also to the back, to make design a bit more dynamic.
