Only if you take yours and go exploring and dont earn just as much on Alpha as you can on Omega
lets say:
1 Team vs Team 2
Team 1 (working class man) spends all their ‘‘ingame money’’ on a fleet with warships, some frigates and one titan
Team 2 (bill gates) does see the fleet and just buys for every ship they have 10 titans with ‘‘rl money’’ + with every ship he loses in battle he buys 3 more!
who does win the battle? which team does have the advantage?
The one with the spy?
lets say both teams have spys^^
Well, Bill Gates’ spy is very well paid
But the working man’s spy may be doing it for friendship, and so is more loyal
i get what u sayin guys and u are right on this one! the players with years of ingame skill and knowledge will always have some adventage against the rl money people! this is true!
but what if someone with years of gameplay knowledge and skill uses alot of rl money on people which are poor in rl and noobs ingame?
sure u are right that noone in eve can buy real skill and knowledge with rl money! that is 100% true! also i saw people in newbi ships ganking people in big battleships!
but it is also true that someones rl money can have a big affect on the gameplay itself, u can not deny that! this little fact makes the plex/money shop system of eve in my opinion somehow a p2w system!
and again, this is not trolling or hate i just try to get facts right!
i still love the game and ofcourse the community
or bill gates just buys the enemy spys pays em the double price and the working man is fu… game over lol
Exactly! Thats why Im against Injectors for people over a certain age.
But it still doesnt mean a poor cant topple an Alliance. I know, I did it when I was young.
But yes, a certain advantage can be gained with monies.
Or Bill’s spy betrays him for the lolz and the money he steals from the Alliance account…
Team 2 wins the battle but team 1 gets to play the game as CCP is a business and gets to stay open by making a profit.
I never like the idea of being able to buy skill points, that being said, I understand the need to give new players a way to catch up with veterans in order to overcome this entry barrier of ‘I can never be effective’ that keeps many new players from staying with the game.
I would have liked it more tho if they would have given new characters a flat out skill point bonus instead of making skill points available to buy and sell. But then again the implemented solution sure generates much more revenue than the other idea.
The problem is that is a myth from leveling games where you have to reach max level to be effective.
They newly created pilot who just arrived might have same skill set, but you have 10 years of playing the game over them…you can’t inject actual game knowledge
Exploring without a cloak? What could go wrong?
If you NEED one rather than just want one, then you shouldnt really have control of a space machine.
i need one in real life…
That can be said about any mod, ofc you dont need it but you will live longer by having one.
Really? Good luck doing explo without hacking modules
I did it at one point, tackle and some dps is all you need, probes obviously too
Keep talking yourself into circles.
I see now why you need a cloak.
“live longer by having one.”
You missed some of my quote, try harder next time
