So I made a new character. It was eye opening

Is that a confirmation that you just act on hurt feelings instead of having any real argument?

So what you’re saying is the path of this pilot should look elsewhere for future guidance?

still the wrong part of space though (rent is due), haha. Should have gone a few more regions to the west. But perhaps that’s in the future

Nah m8, we arent the renters, we are the house clearers and baillifs. We get a nice apartment rent free for as long as we like.

I disagree with the posts that agree to disagree and agree with those who disagree to agree.

What can’t we just get along?

So it’s settled then!

Who cares?? People lie ALL DAY long ALL the time! Some don’t even know they are lying! Who cares?
Play the game and stop flipping on stuff that you can’t change. When it gets too frustrating you just log off and go play with you dog :dog:
I told you before, no one likes to read rants and whines, even if a few words are true in the whole mess of unpunctuated rambling on sh!t no one cares about.
Plus you behaved like a lunatic with my friend so I put a :-1: on all your posts.

Someone is going to cry its offtopic soon so…

We have a corp full of new starts as well as new starts in our group and a whole support section for new players.

If people dont want to ask for help, they probably wont get it, but Ive not had any complaining about lack of things to do.

Perhaps in some ways Im still right, its not what you know but who. At the start anyway.

But youll never know anyone if you just sit in HS in a Venture mining.

The choice is yours, you have the answers, whether you realize it or not. If you feel you still need guidance then another master will surely present her/himself once you’re ready to accept your present condition. You cannot move on with a ball attached to your ankle. The first step is yours to take.

For one billion isk, I will tell Frostpacker what to do next.

If he doesn’t pay, he never learns the next step.

Princess I will log in soon and send to you what you had asked.
In return I only desire guidance. You already know my skills I had endured the pleasure palace and feel that I handled myself better than most.

Why are you so sad? You are ALIVE! It’s already a BLESSING!

By all means no. All your posts are funny, I mean all this thread is fun to read. I had a great time reading some of the replies. I  at several posts. Really good entertainment.
I don’t know why the CCP don’t like this forum, it’s a riot!

You wouldn’t know, there are 26 of you.

Just inform her that the contract is up and that needs to be the exact item included for contract completion

That’s just utter nonsense.

Single player games have ‘absolute’ progress…where you progress towards some end goal and measure your success solely in terms of that absolute progress.

In an MMO like Eve, your ‘absolute’ progress is meaningless on its own. Eve does not have an end goal. There is no super sized ‘boss’ to defeat at the end. The ONLY thing that makes progress meaningful in Eve is your progress relative to others.

Thus all these protests about ‘gatekeeping’ are truly absurd. Of course people want to gatekeep…and justifiably so. Whether its at a corp level or an individual level, Eve is all about being ‘better’ than others.

People don’t progress from a Condor to a Paladin just for the heck of it or because they have nothing better to do or way too much ISK on their hands…or even because they are on some totally personal quest to fly the blingiest ships. No…it’s because the biggest ships are a powerful statement of relative progress and power. Relative power is the only reason for skilling up…otherwise CCP might just as well make the Condor the only ship anyone can pew pew in.

So when people protest about something that is a fundamental part of the game, one does have to wonder whether they have ever really understood that game.

the reason we say this. is because 40-50m sp is plenty enough to fly ‘most’ t1 ships for one specific faction, have well rounded support skills, and have picked up a handful of t2 ships that interest you most.
which is everything that ‘most’ players will need. everything beyond that is either cross training into other factions, or training for more specialized roles.

but just because someone with 100m+ sp can fly -more- ships, doesn’t mean they are going to have any better skills at using them (very few players get rank V in -everything- for more than a couple of ships, so rank 4 is plenty enough to be on an ‘even playing field’)

sure they might be able to fly a carrier, or a titan. but unless they are -in- a carrier or a titan at that exact moment… those extra millions of skill points really don’t matter… same as any skills that do not apply to the ship that they are flying at that moment… it doesn’t matter how many millions of sp I have in laser weapons, if i’m flying a minmatar hull.

thats why we say they don’t matter, because 90% of the time they really don’t.
within a few months, even a brand new character could have all the ‘relevant’ skills required to fly a specific t1 ship just as well as a decades old veteran can, within a year they could easily fly -any- t1 subcap for a specific faction just as well.
and since you can only fly 1 ship at a time (not counting multi-boxing) how well they can fly that 1 ship is all that matters.

Kezrai isn’t interested in an objective reasoned discussion.

This person just wants to whine endlessly.
