You know what he meant, don’t be so nitpicky. Shirley (just for you) you are aware that for many EvE players English is not their first language. Also, expecting people from many different cultural backgrounds to be intimately familiar with American phrases seems a bit much.

sitting in rookie chat I see plenty of cases where a rookie is ganked THEN the ganker, having seen the age of the target pays the value of the ship ten times over. It got to the point where som new players were looking for good places to die.
Eve has a very diverse population, even in the subsections of groups such as carebears and gankers. Mass accusations don’t hold a lot of water with me.
of course, who cares how much water I hold, anyway.

People don’t do the things they do in a video game for fun. I was wrong to say gankers gank because they find ganking fun. They force themselves to log in each day, and continue playing the game in a way reflective of a job, and not because the game is fun.

(Is he gone? The funniest thing about this entire thread, is that I’ve been saying the exact same thing the gankers have been saying. There just seems to be some unavoidable “rage circuit” built into the EvE forums, where you have to fight, even against people who are agreeing with you.
I can literally and repeatedly say “All players who X do so because they think X is fun”, and all people see is “All players” and their brains shut off right then and there.)

My dear boy, every time I post to you lot I am laughing, you just have no idea how mistaken you are, but that is because I am pretty damn self-confident and know myself, strengths and weaknesses.
Respect is earned not given, basically certain gankers don’t have my respect, I treat them and any thing they post as a complete rip roaring jolly jape, so if you want to think I am raging or somehow affected by you or them then seriously go see someone.
Nah, I am completely uninterested in hisec, but jump into my alliances area and I will blow you into little pixel bits with relish :-)) And I would say GF afterwards too.
