I disabled the engine and gun sounds. This way it is better, and feel more like observing from space outside the ship, like from the camera drone that is outside.

Good idea but I like the gun sounds though PEW-PEW!! FZZAP!! 
Who needs music? I could listen to that all day.

I replaced all of my EVE gun sounds with the Battlefield V pew-pew finger gun two years ago:

Indeed. You can’t just mix a bunch of any noises into one not knowing what you’re doing and call it sound design. Please CCP, do something with it.
I actually like it, the only thing I find annoying is that the one for battleships has a second “boom” that isn’t tied to any graphic effect and it feels weird
That’s my main issue, it doesn’t at all feel connected to what I’m seeing or experiencing.
It’s like some shitty mobile game that pretends to be awesome.
