That might even entice me to operate in hisec. Industrialists and mission runners just don’t really have much reason to PVP over resources. I mean, there’s plenty. Allthough that might change with the coming update. Perhaps the Quantum Core update will give people something to fight over as well, but I’m unsure whether CCP will ever find a good balance between the security states. Like, you can anchor something in lowsec and dec corps in hisec, the further away from hisec you get the better organized the player groups need to be: this will be forever a game where poop rolls downhill.
I get frustrating losses too, I deal with the incoming negative emotions and realize: without this possibility, Eve would never be thrilling. I don’t feel in the wrong when I say this is why I play EvE, and it’s such an integral part of the experience that I wouldn’t want it any other way: the problem is never being on the other side of the warp disruptor. If someone doesn’t get a high from spaceship PVP with fake money on the line, EvE just isn’t the right game for that person. That doesn’t mean I don’t want that person to play, they are valid CCP customers after all. Nor do I want them to feel like “content” but that is the ultimate outcome for those that never engage in hostilities themselves. Those that never stomp down on a PVE ship and understand the satisfaction of popping a BS in a frig after murdering all his drones.
While I get the whole human emotional component, we all have to deal with it. Check my killboard, it’s not just PVP ships in the red there. I might operate in lowsec, I might consent to being pewpewed, that doesn’t mean I don’t feel that loss. I do. It’s just that every time I undock, I am prepared to deal with those emotions and I don’t take them out on other people in any other way then shooting at spaceships. I don’t go and cry for more security, I understand that the possibility of a humiliating loss is the reason I find the game thrilling. The F1-F9 MMORPG cooldown gameplay itself is pretty old and stale.
Is it necessary that each type of activity be obscured by its own seperate screen, and its own set of overly complex mechanics?
Seems like there was a time when PI, DUST, RW and FW could have all been part of a superb bundle of interlinked opportunities for expansion, content and accessiblity.
But y’know, seperate unrelated activities with different access routes, goals and rules seems more what EvEs been about.
CCP, do you just get bored easily, or do you simply not want to expand on the idea that activities working together might actually encourage people to work together?
I had thought that resource wars was carried out in low sec and after the faction your fighting for in the system moves that small bar opens the gates to allow barges into the special belts hidden in deadspace.
It was an honor to be able to pvp with the Judge https://zkillboard.com/kill/78616707/

Why should they pay you ?- you got your content - enjoy and move on. the fact that they can take advantage of the results of your action does not mean they should pay you. if someone cleans a road and i find 50p on that road after does not mean i should pay them, it mearly means they should have taken advantage themselves and not been careless enough to miss out on opportunity.
Simple answer, really: because I can work with you, or against you. You can have me be your friend and compensate me for the assistance and protection I provide, or I’m not going to have a job, in which case my job becomes farming the most profitable target that I can find, which coincidentally happens to be your juicy carebear ass. Do you think that given the choice between shooting your fat Orca/Hulk/mission-running Navy battleship, or some other bored PvPer’s generic T2-fitted Hurricane, I’m necessarily going to go for the latter?
Please. I’m going to go absolutely ballistic on that bubble-booty of yours.
