After nov 14 players will be able to corrupt low and high sec. If a low sec system is sufficiently corrupted among other things players will be able to deploy interdiction bubbles making it more like null sec.
If a high sec system is sufficiently corrupted players will be able to gate camp and gank without CONCORD showing making it more like low sec
It will take time to get to that level of corruption, so won’t have to worry about it for a short while.
I do wonder what indicators we will have to know when a system has been corrupted. Will we have a toggle in autopilot to avoid those systems? Will it alert us when we set a destination that travels through one of these systems? I haven’t caught up on the CCP Havoc streams yet, so not sure if this has been addressed.
I guess someone will come up with a 3rd party app to accomplish that if it isn’t handled in game.
That is enough to snap the Route between Amarr and Jita for good. You can bet that CCP will manually place an Insurgency in Raa or Kamela if it doesn’t spawn there on its own in timely fashion.
Good, good. Time to start killing JIta. Said the guy who also uses jita for supplying T2 inputs - but those can be shipped in DST.
To be honest there is not that much isk in HS moon mining right now. It is only 20% better than veldspar… which is 4M per retriever. (12M/h w/o boost, 24M/h with perfect boost).
Actually, I heard CCP is turning all of empire space in to nullsec that will instantly be given to Goons or whoever forum hisec dwellers hate the most, 4-4 will be the only station left in the game, it’ll be permacamped by Safety and the station ambience will be changed to Aiko saying “calm down miner” on repeat ad infinitum.
Or, you know, there’s also space that isn’t anywhere near FW space where this will be happening, and there’s more than one way to get from one part of hisec to the other. I can’t even remember the last time I used the hisec pipeline from Amarr to Jita in its entirety.
Maybe you will soon and it just seems like an unneccesary nuisance. There are more engaging and interesting changes and additions that can be made instead of disruptiving security status and ever changing rules of specific systems. Its bad design if you ask me. But lets see
No one is saying that. What people are saying is that HS is HS, and that the game’s economy needs it to stay that way. There is no problem with HS ganking occurring under the current dynamic, where there are consequences for the ganker. The problem with this imminent nonsense is that said well understood and self-limiting dynamic is being upended for no good reason.
Stop sneering at those of us who spent much (but not all) of our time in HS. We are as much a part of the game, and its economy, as those who mostly operate in NS, LS or even WH.
