- That said: the idea of roleplaying is to tell stories about and experience situations that are interesting. Unlike some think, games and roleplaying are not about being the coolest most skilled most badass person who also happens to be favored by workmates, loved by family and respected by all. (That’s what RL is for
) Games and stories need to have challenges and struggles and villains and victims to be interesting. Characters who win all the time are freaking boring.
