Making new friends may be such a thing. Dont know if that would be the case, but we could always try. I would definitely try supporting Triglavians.
Well, youâre not wrong.
I see that there are two possibilities with the Tirglavians. One, theyâve been isolated for quite some time. Or secondly, apart of a political theater we have no knowledge of even existing; as shown with their war with the Drifters. Their culture and way of think can all be a product of their world; physically, politically or even spiritually.
The technology theyâve built may be from demand from unique situations they need a solution to, much like with them having access to these Abyssal pockets. They wouldnât be spotted there if they didnât have some reason to be there. Either it being their turf or new space they themselves are now just exploring. Exploring for what purpose? Fighting Drifters why?
Questions that we will find answers to in due time.
I agree, but on my opinion, before thinking about every of those questions, we need to know if there is anyone still âaliveâ.
The sleepers too are âof human originsâ, if you catch my meaning ^^"
This is a question that will be answered along those i presented. Even if they wernât âAliveâ - there still remains the questions of why theyâre at war with the Drifters or what theyâre doing in these pockets of deadspace.
We wonât just discover âOh, theyâre just disgusting gutted corpses propped up with augmentations like those Driftersâ and end it at that. No, there are hundreds of questions still to be asked from what weâve seen so far.
oh I completely agree on this ^^
the TC enigma is highly interesting and I do hope that we will get answers soon, and probably even more questions will rise!
One thing that concerns me a little is how much cultures get shaped by their living situation. The Caldari, children of basically a ball of mud and ice studded with trees, have some very particular ideas about the nature and meaning of life.
(Life is a crucible burning away weakness / the purpose of life is to ensure survival / well we donât mean your survival personally, old man; we mean the community generally, and foodâs running short; thank you very much for all your contributions over the years we will honor your sacrifice and oh arenât the woods going to be pretty by moonlight at this time of the year.)
(Iâm a little glad to have been educated in a culture that just had to worry about earthquakes, tsunamis, and abuptly-murderous weather.)
Now consider that the Triglavians have apparently been living in whatâs apparently a terrifyingly hostile environment for at least thousands of years. Weâve apparently never found a trace of them outside it, which means theyâre either a new category of Ancients or one of the old ones thatâs changed so much we donât recognize them anymore.
One more thought to add: what caused them to go live in such pockets in the first place ?
Easy.
Theyâre tired of being disturbed by outsiders.
Oh, even if it is you⌠it will be us. I can tell you there are already about a thousand arms producers champing at the bit just in Delve, looking to flood the local market with these ships, their weapons, their armor technology, all of it.
The new arms race is upon us. Morally justifiable or no, if these things are even close to being as potent as they appear, the choices at this point would appear to be âget on the trainâ or âget run over by itâ.
Still, @Aradina_Varren, @Makoto_Priano, you have to admitâŚ
You gotta admit, sliced kyonokeâd be a pretty bad thing to show up in loaves on the grocery shelves, neh?
What. I mean yes, it would be. But I donât get it.
DERP! That was supposed to be to @Aria_Jenneth. Stupid neocom autocorrect.
Oh. Guess Iâll just go then.
Wait, what? No, I just meant I wasnât trying to be obscure or call you out on something you werenât involved in, ya goof.
Besides, where would you go?
Thatâs true, this isnât a physical place and as such I canât actually leave.
Nope! Youâre dooooooooomed!! DOOOOOOOOOOOMED!! Youâll spend eternity here with us in the aether, never able to truly escape!
Wow, thatâs a bleak idea.
Iâm not entirely convinced we are not living in some sort of cosmic punishment sphere. Either that, or the universe is just a cold, sad place. Sadder and colder than I ever fathomed it to be.
All the math points to our universe being a computer simulation.
Imagine that
Blah! Malarkey is what that sounds like â Just look around! This is the Makerâs universe we find ourselves in. Every rock from the asteroids to the planets sprawling with life are genuine and unmistakable to that found in some virtual realm.
What possibly gives that impression of New Eden? Cold? Damn thing is practically on fire with the amount of activity and life is Capsuleers have brought it. Every day a battle is being waged, volumes of commodities moving between gates, raw resources being gathered and put to productive uses like building ships or stations.
Thereâs not a single thing sad about our universe beside the fact that infectious cancers like Rogue Drones and Drifters lurking about. But those are problems that undoubtely have a solution.
I love me some DOOOM
