I’m looking for a solo pvp fit, i cant seem to figure out a good one thats cap stable. any suggestions or advice on what other people are running? currently cap depleted as quick as 2:50.

Small Auxiliary Thrusters II
Small Ionic Field Projector II
You can grab some deadspace Microwarp drive which should help capacitor issues for around 30M isk I think. They also have less signature bloom and provide a bit more speed.
If it’s just the capacitor and it’s just a bit of it you lack, putting a Mindflood Booster into your cargohold and consuming it when you get into an engagement you think is going to take some time. The Mindflood might do the trick at lower risks then using a blingy microwarp, as the booster is cheap on the killmail if you get Tornadoed before consuming it, it’s also less expensive to buy, and once consumed is bound on the capsuleer rather then the ship or pod, so it will stay active as you reship or even as you get podded.
The Synth Mindflood Booster variant provides 6% extra capacitor for an hour and has no side effects, while the Standard Mindflood Booster variant provides 20% extra capacitor at odds to cripple your shield booster performance and missile application - your fit doesn’t use shield boosters so you don’t need to care about this bit, however the missile application might be a thing. Both the Synth and the Standard variants can be obtained for 2M~3M isk each in highsec markets.
Your fit also has two tackle modules, but most likely when the scram is engaged the disruptor is no longer needed, and can therefore be turned off.
Soloing Null Sec and Low Sec is difficult due to the channel networks that are used to alert NBSI ships. Your best bet is to run a covert-ops cloak and look for ESS that have around 300 million ready to be taken by connecting to the ESS.
Looks pretty good. I prefer brawling to kiting but this ship appears good at both. I personally prefer a Medium extender over a Small, either that or putting a Medium Ancillary Shield Booster on the ship. As for the lows, a nano is good, I might consider putting a Ballistic Control in place of the overdrive. The Crow is already really fast. In the mids, dual point is a decent idea but maybe a web, paint, guidance computer, sensor booster (for more range), shield hardener, second anci rep, or cap battery could help?
Try it out, see what you like best after losing a few!
(also you can’t enter the ESS, don’t try)
If the Crow is too low of damage for you, try the Claw, Crusader, Raptor, or Taranis. They are mush more built for solo PvP. The Jaguar and Vengeance are better brawl missile platforms and the Garmur is a better kite missile platform. Most Crows are built to have speed and point range and speed and also speed over tank and dps. You can surprise people, but you have to be very careful about your targets.
May I suggest, you switch out the t2 scram and long-point for the Caldari Navy equivalent. They shouldn’t cost too much, and they provide a little bit of extra range, and you can overheat them a few more seconds longer.
Both are lighter on the CPU requirements, but I am not sure about capacitor usage.
The Fed Navy or the matar republic navy point and scram are the better ones, but they are also the most expensive ones.
Make sure, you practise overshooting, so your future opponent has a harder time trying to slingshot you.
Using the advice in this thread I have the same above fitting at stable cap with faction MWD and Dis/Scrams. The total cost goes up to 150 mil ofc which is on the expensive side of what I can afford (to loose frequently).
Have fun! Might be worth your time to downgrade to a Restrained MWD. Will cut down a ton of the cost.
Kiting is hard, it’s good to practice cheap. You can use a Hookbill, Slicer, even a Condor to practice what you’re trying to do, and you can lose literally 75 cheap Condors for the cost of your Crow.
If you’d get annoyed losing the Crow, don’t fly it yet.
If you can afford to get blobbed 10x with no kills, go for it! It’s a learning curve!
