Join Spectre Fleet and CCP this Saturday for a new player public PvP fleet!

Who will be there?
Several CCP Developers will join the fleet, so you get to fly with us as well as the wonderful people from Spectre Fleet of course. Plus a lot of PvP rookies looking to cut their teeth!

How do I join?
The first step would be to join the Spectre Fleet Discord server. You can ask questions here, but most importantly this is where everyone will be in voice comms during the fleet on Saturday. You don’t need to speak on voice comms if you don’t want to but it’s important that you’re in that Discord so you can hear the fleet commander’s orders and don’t get left behind!

When we are ready to fleet up we will use the new fleet finder to find and join the fleet.

What ship do I bring? Can I get a free ship?
It’s preferred you bring your own, but ships can be handed out for new players. If you’re not sure what to bring click here to see six cheap, low skill requirement fittings for ships you can bring to the fleet. You can copy the ship fitting from that page and then import it into the ship fitting window in EVE.

Where should my character be?
Jita Trade Hub, A.K.A. Jita IV - Moon 4 - Caldari Navy Assembly Plant. This is where the fleet will be forming up. Be here by 19:45 (early bird gets the worm).

If you can’t make it in person the fleet will also be streamed live on CCP TV!

Please bear in mind that there is a limit to the number of people we can have in a single fleet and while we don’t think there’ll be an issue, should the fleet fill up quickly we won’t be able to take additional people.

In case anyone is having trouble figuring out how to import the fittings from the link in the post above here they are (scroll down) in a format easy to copy to get into the client.

All you need to do is highlight the full text of the fitting you want to import and hit CTRL+C or right-click and choose Copy:

Then head into your EVE client, open the fitting window and click on Import & Export on the bottom left and choose Import from Clipboard:

You’ll then see a window pop up with the fitting shown:

Now you can just click on the Save button at the bottom of that window to add the fitting to your saved fittings then Buy All to open up a multibuy window to obtain what you need from the market in your current station. (Might be handy to do this from a market hub like Jita or Amarr!)

SF does not require you to shoot blues should we come across them. We ask that you do not give out any information regarding our fleets to friendlies. Some alliances have specific policies stating you cannot join an NPSI group, such as ours. Check with your alliance leaders and diplos before joining. However, even some larger block alliances have FC’s in SF. So dont count it out.

Do I have to use my eve character name to sign up for discord?

No, but having your character the same name is easier for us. Since we will call you by your name in game for instructions. (Might be confusing for you )

No, we will call you by your in game name. We will not be looking at discord, you will just hear your name called on comms.
