So Um, is it normal for stars to start shooting beams of light at the gates? I’m a bit confused, hopefully its another caroline’s star.
That’s normal - with the new gate graphics, you can see incoming players as these “paths”

I saw it in an ice belt too. But only just once in one day in a highsec system.
Those are ships jumping to and out of system. Best to observe this in high traffic system
