You have no way of knowing if a ‘noob’ is genuinely 5 days old. In fact simple maths dictates that most ‘5 day old noobs’ cannot really be 5 days old, as the sheer number of additional characters and alts created over time mean that the vast majority will have been created some time after the original character was created. Heck…I just created a new account myself…3 new ‘noobs’ just a few days old.
MacGybo did a video where he showed that 15% of all his ganks were ’ 1 day old noobs’. Yet they were ‘noobs’ flying to Jita with billions of ISK in cargo…which no genuine noob would have.
So this whole thing of bringing up ‘5 day old noobs’ and kill records is a complete farce. You have zero evidence that any such cases are genuinely 5 days old.

I’ve loved this game since Beta®. What I don’t love is the dishonesty of most gankers. The fact that they use roleplay as an excuse for shooting Ventures is disingenuous. No one believes that Jimmy was trying to save HS and “protect the asteroid belts”. Yet, they still go on about it while not honoring the very permits they sell. Shooting a mining vessel is a poor excuse of PvP. Call it what it is, too scared for real PvP, which can be found easily enough in LS & Null.

Shooting ventures is over since the latest CCP patch adressing griefing.

That Venture has an offensive electronic warfare module fitted. It wasn’t a civilian.
All PvP is real PvP. All your crying won’t change that 
And the RP is fine. Better than people mindlessly botting ice. They are engaged in the game and creating content.
