You can’t bring up someone’s KB and not expect yours to be brought into question. Why do gankers think they can control the narrative? This should be a level playing field for discussion. CCP makes the rules, not the gankers. (that can’t even tether in HS)
Hypocrisy is when you brag about having engaging in ‘vastly more ganking’ whilst at the same time calling everyone else ‘griefers’ for engaging in it. That’s about as clear a case of hypocrisy as it gets.
Your logic is completely flawed. Take an alcoholic for example, do they not sponsor other alcoholics that are trying to “stay clean”. Gang members are (touring as we speak) telling kids about the pitfalls of being in a gang. Do they “have a leg to stand on”?
ANYWAYS. We got a little off topic because of the incorrect terminology. Let me clarify. It’s referred to as “ganking” in Eve. You’d only call it “griefing” if you were a poor sport with an entitled attitude.
No because griefing doesn’t exist in Eve. It’s instead referred to as “PvP”.
Unless I was mistaken and ‘dystopian’ actually means “perfectly safe utopia”. Also, I’m pretty sure the “MM” in “MMO” stands for “Massive Multiplayer” so it would stand to reason that:
Interacting with other players is unavoidable (and actually the entire point of the genre)
Competing with other players for resources is the entire point of the game.
Since this is a “competitive MMO” you probably shouldn’t expect the entire game to revolve around your playstyle and instead expect that other players will very likely interfere.
Crying for nerfs to your competitor is extremely selfish and entitled behavior in such a game.
It’s like an officer of the law having discretion. If you have a club behind your car seat, they are trained to draw a conclusion as to your intent. Humans are fallible and make mistakes all the time. If you’re blowing up an MTU just to harm or hinder someone else’s gameplay, then the answer is yes. You’re the only one that knows your intent. The question is, can you be honest?
