a new category for ships, called Submarines, these can fit torpedo’s and enhance the heavy missile launcher types range, the Submarine can have an fast velocity, and also cannot be locked on by normal ship target ranges, instead they have to be closer, Submarines have an 6-8 high slots, 4-6 medium slots and 5-8 low slots, and priced around 90m isk to 110m isk, there is 1 or 2 Submarines for each main empire.
they also have new feature to them only, the ability to find and decloak cloaked ships, this will provide a new way to fight against an enemy that can cloak, this can help to fight them.
the cons are, they are weak, they don’t have a lot of tank, so around an unfitted cruiser is around the Submarines tank, one that is not fitted of course
they can be target locked on by the person they are targeting, once the Submarine starts shooting, it can be target locked onto by anyone near by them
even though you have to be closer to the Submarine to target via the overview, if you can see them, you can select the vessel in the area by the double click target lock or by using the select target lock area to lock onto many other pilots
how you can obtain them
producing is an way to get one, but they will need an new kind of materiel
how they will be produced is needing an Sub module, which can be found un enemy NPC Submarines, these can appear in missions 3-4, though will be hard to defeat them, once you do in the wreck hold, there always be an Sub module to get.
NPC/ player market
this is a much easier way, but they are around 90-110 m isk for base, so they will be expensive.
How this will impact eve,
it can provide alphas and omegas (yes, I do want this to be for alphas as well) a new perspective of tactics, a new way to fight.
