Sugguestion: Make Compress ore services available to npc stations

Compression is a powerful thing and shouldn’t be available in npc stations. It should probably be unique to refineries.

Put up a structure.

wait wait wait…you mean we have to play with people in a MMO? GTFO

you cant tax compression… so its free do to so in any player structure with public refining.

I simply said allow it for NPC, but it has to be taxed if it is.

(so other than all that, yeah go learn your mechanics darling before sticking your foot in your mouth again)

and @Balos_Tritapo shut up dude, your a waste of space.

“You cannot”???

Really?

Compressing is a service as any other service as well…tax it by amout…

People you cannot act like a 5 xear old in the supermarket throwing yourself on the floor, hitting the floor with your bare fists for not getting the candy you so desperately want…

Sure you can tax compressio…

The structure owners are than free to make it CHEAPER,but that’s it…

Get adult…this will not kill EVE…

And @Max_Deveron you are pathetic…

No really, the ability to tax compression is not in the game. Compression is a by-product of the refinery service.

And you REALLY think this is a “problem” for CCP to simply copy it for npc stations?

WOW…

The trust you have in the competence of CCP members must be skyhigh :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve played Eve since July 2003, I have watched the technical capabilities of the dev team reduce steadily over the years. I doubt that it is as simple as “just add the service to stations”. Ore compression is tied to the Upwell structure service, the npc station services have been in game since launch, there is very little chance that the code has anything in common. Compression in npc stations will not happen for one of the following reasons

  • CCP don’t want compression in NPC stations (most likely)
  • Current CCP Devs do not want to go poking at 16 year old code (and I don’t blame them)
  • Current CCP lacks the technical capability to do so

I didn’t know that, and I dont care because it’s irrelevant as to what my point was.

And my point was, you dont have a valid argument. Your argument is that you dont have one, beyond laziness and self entitlement.

Whichever system you are in, is lacking player structures. You yourself dont want to place a structure because of fear of wardec and costs. You dont want to risk anything, but also want everything. And that’s a bad stupid argument to make.

We dont have an npc station in every system. We dont have npc stations with every single service, in all of them. And that’s a good thing, and designed like that by ccp. It’s been like that for a long time, possibly since the beginning.

So what’s your compelling, good reason to change all this?

Oh, right, you have none.

Its legacy code, its a pain to deal with.

Exactly.

This is not about PvP or Care Bears, it is a simple case where not everything can be free otherwise there would be nothing to do.

You clearly need to get control of your emotions, maybe a break from EVE or an emotional support group?

Nice suggestion…

May i suggest YOU to do the same?

Indifference and credulity is a sign of some serious mental problem too…so…may we seek help together and walk hand in hand to the next psychologist? :stuck_out_tongue:

Off topic I know but how have you managed this?

No Character can be found with “Balos Tritapo” in the beginning of its name.

Ahhhh.

Yes the forum feature where as long as you don’t log out you can continue posting with a doomheimed character.

Thanks!

Another two years and it will be legal to poke that code.

Old topic yet still very valid and with (old)news on the POS being removed could prompt reasons to revisit various comments about Ore Compression.

One thing POS offered that could still be current would be the Ore Compression for a smaller Corp made fast, cheap and easy to setup.

Wouldn’t this then win votes on changes to npc stations to then taking up the compression service?

What’s wrong with a Athanor? Cheap, ok not instant to set up, but that’s a good thing, convenience services that are instant to set up and take down remove all opportunity cost involved.

Old topic, still a bad idea for all the reasons already posted.
