I mean if you really think about it melting a freighter or hauler while your on a timer is a pretty challenging thrill. Come to think of it, I feel it takes a certain amount of skill to be able to coordinate and execute properly.
Standard engagements require no concord timer and the gankers still risk it all to get their hands in the cookie jar.
Iād say itās the pinnacle of pvp as nature intended really.
I love chasing suspects and trying to catch them while they are still suspect. Sniping them at Jita is very fruitful in terms of kills but quite boring in terms of entertainment. A good chase, like I had today, is way more fun even though they got away.

See thatās the thing I never understood about carebears in general, they loath being hunted but want to print infinite isk in high sec. My most nostalgic memories of Eve were when I was mining ice in hilaima and was being actively hunted by gankers back when I had a passion for fuel blocks and planetary cultivation.
But that 5.64 AU warp that reminds me of the sunesis I used to fly when Iād use up my clone jumps and would have to get to my staging areas in lowsec. You always build really interesting ships Gloria.
Anytime i read a rant on these boards about ācarebearsā i always think they are referring to me. lol. Im sure im not one because i accept pvp in this game. I know im a target all the time. I know that anybody that ive discussed topics with on this forum can anytime destroy me at any time. Bottom line is i dont complain about pvp in this game. I dont complain about anything in this game. The only thing i rant and raise a fuss about are some people that pull ghost theories from their darker region of their body.
This is a pvp game, i support ganking, i support constant danger, i support destruction. No, i never partake in it (the pvp that is). Yes, im the one that likes watching mining lasers.
If anybody here considers me a carebear then so be it. Am i a carebear? I give flowers to people in the masses. Many of them are to carebears. Many of those are in a certain channel i like to hang out in.
Okay, i opened myself up there. You may blast away with your potato guns now. 
Interesting side note: I was completing the career agents for some of my characters and thereās a mission where you have to fly a frigate into a structure to blow it up.
Iām just wondering why this is even here? Unless Iām mistaken, ākamikazeā type ship attacks donāt exist anywhere in EVE.

Iād class myself as a carebear. Iām just one who more and more ventures outside their comfort zone. I think thatās how it is for many people. Things that used to be scary are no longer scary. One day you realiseā¦ āYesā¦even I can do PvPā.

Itās not from lack of talent, itās from economy of effort. Carebears still hate being called that, they react like you just demonstrated, so why should we muddle the issue by making up new terms?
Nah if you canāt come up with a new insult after 20 years itās pretty clear the original was your peak level and you should just give up
