From my point of view, all what this patch does is to force more destruction to reduce the mineral stockpiles faster.

I hope you will change all this after you reached your goal, because this resistance nerf is ■■■■.

not so sure development team has.

it has no real benefit to PVP fleets, the only ones that will get anything from the Sub-CAP changes will be the suicide gankers, the gate campers and CODE fleets.

real PVP players tend to be more adventurous in their targets, and tend to take the risk to get the kill.

the one that will get the advantage from those changes will be the gankers in Jita and surrounding systems, gate campers in cheap attack fits and CODE indy hunting fleets.

where’s the improvement in gameplay and balance?

personally I see nothing that benefits the player base as a whole, just a minor group of players who only attack newbies and PVE indy players.

think this whole things wasn’t thought through fully and need to be put back on the drawing board and reworked.

Even if they didn’t realize the ganker buff at first they now ASSUME more ganking ultimately means more people paying them money for PLEX.

For some reason, no matter what CCP does they ASSUME that people are so hooked on this game that will never realize they have come to the point a player say inside your mind "I HAVE HAD ENOUGH! I QUIT! and REALLY DO IT!

Congratulations CCP for giving asshats like CODE more power, How many Players did they drive away when they started and eve has seen a return of players since Ganking ships got nerfed.

NOW you think Hey lets see how much money we can lose now but doing the same thing they did. By pissing off everyone but the PVPERS and GANKERS. Do us all a favour next time and leave the good folks in the indy department out of your BS

No…no they won’t realize they have until the numbers come out. And the REAL numbers won’t truly come out until after the worldwide beerbug quarantines end.

Right now EVE numbers are being boosted by an artificial spike.

Even if this travesty of a PATCH is not CANCELLED, the real losses, and there WILL be losses of players and accounts, including cash paid accounts, will not be apparent until after people have normal lives again rather than being trapped at home.

Have you really do the maths about all are you complaining? It’s a nerf but not a game breaker In any way.
20% resistance lost of some modules, not Damage Control or Rigs as I read in the announcement. Then, my astero has 72.5 armor em resist with a Energized Adap…, and 64.3% without. 20% of 8.2 is 1.64. Then after the “nerf” my armor EM resist are going to be 70,86 from 72.5 before it.
If this calculations are correct, please re-think all you are talking about.

now add to that your attacker is using T2 close range ammo with a 15% bonus to base damage before any skill, module, rig or ship bonuses are added.

on a basic T1 Amarr BS with no role bonus, ship skill based bonus, or module bonus, only player skills gets a @30HP bonus to EM damage and another @30HP of TH damage per T2 pulse laser and T2 Ammo, now times that by the number of turrets an Apoc can mount and tell me that Alpha Strike isn’t going to hurt you with your slightly reduced resistances as you put it.

now think of what the effect is when you get a ship with ship lvl damage bonuses or ship role bonuses, plus the bonuses from RIG and LowSlot damage modules that have been mounted.

you need to think further ahead then just the resistance change…

What is TONS of players UNSUB forever just like after “Blackout”.

So uhh… since this is mainly a PVP nerf, but it hits PVE pretty bad, are the NPCs going to get a blanket nerf to their damage output? 5-10% maybe.
