It’s fine, it’s fine, it’s all fine we will still fly our favorite ships.

The new graphics and details are good.  Triglavian stuff is cool.  I like the market changes so far.  64 client seems to be working ok.  

However, the virus must have eaten your brain about the rest. These changes do not serve the majority of the people who play the game. People are not gonna give you subscription money if you continue on this path.

 The number one problem in this game is the fact that you allow and encourage multi-boxing and multiple accounts.  Get rid of those and your balance would have fixed itself years ago.

 As a person who plays with only one toon, I have to say you're wrecking this beautiful game for us.   I will still hang around to see what happens though.

 How about for a change you add something that people want?

Ok, my predictions:

  • (Catalyst) ganking is buffed
  • Alpha fleets all over the place
  • Assault ships supremacy
  • Hull tanking
  • Command links more important

I’m fine. My Loki will be retired probably, but I will have more fun flying my Hecate and the assault frig fleets :slight_smile:

The more I watch recent patch notes, the more I am beginning to regret coming back to this game…It’s becoming more and more apparent that CCP has a lack of understanding of how their own game works. All decisions in eve are based on a risk vs. reward system.

Risk vs. Reward - I understand you want super-capital proliferation to stop so you made minerals harder t get, but in turn you have to make super-capitals something to be feared. People are not going to work on a community project to build a super-capital if the end result isn’t worth it. It should take 250+ people to kill a super-capital based on how much effort you are now requiring people to put into a super-capital.

In the same vein you just killed groups that run HQ sites in incursions, the tanks on the ships are basically no longer feasible to start an incursion as the resistances will get them killed now after adding in stacking penalties.

Let’s not even start what you have done to your new player experience now - Level 3/4 missoins for a newbie? hahahaha, not with the resistance nerf, they will require an omega clone and 6 months of skilling before that’ll be possible.

What’s next blackout 2.0? Take away super-capital ability to defend themselves against small gangs (oh wait, you did that already), make blackops the single best deterrent in the game? (Oh wait, you did that too).

CCP you are making changes with your head in the sand and your devops process seems to lack QA by someone who understands cause and effect in eve or at the least any sort of reasonable UAT.

You play the game for 7 years and have 342 kills, 5 of which are solo.
What sort of PvP could you be possibly interested in???

I think it’s time that anyone who actually believed in balancing EVE lays down their arms and admits defeat. EVE is now officially ganking online.

He IS right, none the less… Gankers got a serios buff. I think ganking an unarmed ship is a lowest kind of dirty PvP, that requires no skill at all. By pushing even more people that way CCP hurts the noble way of true PvP.

I might have misunderstood, but I was under the impression that this was about every modules of Capital Ships, not every ship in the game?

'he, maybe, but I just read it again and that’s not very clear.

There is one single time when they say “accross the board”, and then everywhere else on the devblog they only talk about Capitals, even in the very paragraph you quoted, two lines later they talk about the effects of this change on Capital Ships.

Guess you are right.

I’m surprised they make such a huge change for every ship at once, but well, why not?

As for your thread, yeah, it’s a buff for ganking for sure, but I don’t think it’s gonna matter much.

I mean, that will still be the same players targeting the same victims they would have targeted anyway. This will make it more profitable tho, because less ship needed, but nothing game changer at the end of the day.

I’m more interested in trying how it affects other PvP fights.

While I don’t care much about ganking (even if I’m the target all the time). I worry much about any PvE aspect of the game. Since I bet they don’t nerf also all rats so things like t5 abyss, invasion stuff, ded sites (solo) etc. can be impossible to run. Not to mention trig patrols and diamond rats…
