Just a quick question, and please don’t interpret this tone as a personal attack, because it’s not: do you think that maybe flying around in something "indestructible* in a game with an economy based around destruction is maybe not a good thing? Kind of like being a tourist in an area that desperately relies on tourism money for income, but not spending anything? Which is to say, not really a crime, but kind of a douchey thing to do? Or like not wearing a mask during a pandemic because you think that you’re young and healthy and the disease won’t affect you personally if you get it, so it doesn’t matter? Because it is. Just saying. We all try to maximize our chances to survive in EVE, but that comes with the implicit acknowledgement that you can’t absolutely ensure it 100% of the time.
That said, if you think that you’re going to go from an invincible demigod to an enfeebled gank magnet just because of a moderate drop in resist efficiency, you’re mistaken. It’s highly unlikely that anything will change with regard to you, because if you were worth killing, you would have been killed already. Just drop the overall cost of your setup by a bit for some extra peace of mind, and you’ll be overlooked as you have been before.
no they wont … this time they truuly believe that they did it right … so… you wanna come and do some suicide gank ?? :))
I turned not to you, but to the developers. I dont want to confront you, and I hope you will no longer bother me with your personal opinion. Thank you for understanding.
People don’t understand. Posting in the forums is like undocking in the game. You consent to pvp.
Cool, no problem. As long as we’re clear that you’re seeking special treatment. Fly safe, friend.
I’m ok with all the changes, just upset that they happen when I collected my 2.5 billion fit on rattlesnake. Fly safe, mate o7
How much will the population drop after April 15th, 5%, 10% 15%. Maybe it will go up 5%? Who cares to guess.
You have seen what they are willing to do in the past. Who knows this time.
From the looks of thing people are haunting the boards now more than playing the game. Lol.
Watching tv, adjusting fits, reading and . My loki ws swiss cheese after the T3 “ajustment”.
Hopefully enough players unsub from omega that Pearl Abyss will notice and start coming down on CCP and start axing the people responsible for this fiasco.
I think CCP learned something from the politicians. Goes like this, hey we have a whole new tax system, this will be wonderful for you with less paper work, and it will give the major corps a break and you will have a job. In the meantime we are taking away several tax deductions, you will pay more, but we want you dear taxpayer to feel good that we have screwed you in the butt. CCP took a lesson.
CCP Logic strikes again, can we expect 20% lesser damage from the PVE content too?
Have to say i got the feeling this is one of the worst CSM we ever had that says okay to stuff like that…
Can you do maths first about how much ehp and resists you actually lose. Since rigs aren’t impacted nor are base resists.
It does your argument no favours complaining when you don’t get facts right.
Also you do know the CSM doesn’t approve stuff right.
Something tells me this decision was made with little feedback from CSMs.
Well at one point ships didn’t have rigs, so they were significantly weaker. ISK was 50x harder to make, and virtually no one could afford a 3b ship for ratting. Now a noob can go kill a clone soldier and score 25 mil. People have rorquals mining 300 mil ISK value an hour, and supercarriers can rat 500 mil an hour. Carriers used to have drones that could be assigned to people and warp around the system following people. Carriers could fit the triage module and do FAX or DPS (but not both). Wormholes didn’t exist.
Eve changes. People just hate when change happens, because they struggle to see the upside.
Mining will likely yield more ISK/hour, because the demand will go up.
JFs will charge more because the risk goes up.
Ratting will go 15% faster if you use T2 short-range ammo.
If this change really means people won’t be able to survive PVE now, then wtf kind of fit does that person have?
If the change ends up being as horrible as some people say, CCP will adjust it again.
Personally I think the update is awesome.
Do you even realise that you are contradicting yourself in your own post?
You ask for CCP to work on “exciting” PvE content, but just before that you were explaining how what you actually like is playing a ship that cannot die and “look at the picture”.
Make your choice.
And by the way, please don’t be one of those pathetic cry-baby, who are not capable of any form of Maths, and therefore act as if this update would turn their beloved no-brain Battleship into a Frigate.
Hell, if you read the entire update, you might even realise that for some of them this will be a BUFF.
As a bonus: 500 posts ago, I wrote that after 1000 posts, tons of braindead players were not capables of understanding why 20% damage nerf to PvE wouldn’t make sense.
We are now past 1500 posts, and this kind of trolls are still here.
Keep the updates coming! I approve.
