Since the last update? I keep getting this bug where the system doesn’t load, and it’s just a really hideously flashing blob in the middle of the screen, incredibly bright/pulsating. Needs a complete reboot to fix it, sometimes it persists through jumps.
It’s so bad it would pose a legit risk to epilepsy suffers perhaps, I can barely look at the screen when it does it. Very annoying either way. Anyone else?
I don’t experience this (on a Mac), but if you go to this thread I’ve linked below, and look through the posts for the last couple of days you’ll find reports of something similar:
Yeah, I had the same thing happen earlier today… Even though I’ve seen reports of the issue over the past few days, today was my first time actually experiencing it… At first I thought the issue was centered on the sun but I couldn’t rotate the screen, luckily my Overview and Selected Item box was still visible so I just clicked on a station and docked…
Needless to say the onscreen view didn’t change until the session change placed me inside the station… After that, I cleared all cache files in Esc menu / Reset Settings tab and did a relog… I then Verified Game Files and Removed Unused Files in the Launcher… After relogging, I didn’t experience the issue again… Course I didn’t stay logged into the game very long… Hopefully that issue doesn’t happen again…
I had this the other day, or what sounds like it.
I clicked on something else in my overview and hit C to point the camera at it. As the view moved, I realised that I had been staring at the inside of the gate.
