T1 Abyssal in a Cormorant?

I decided to try Abyssal space, got a Cormorant fit from a YouTuber and it works great on T0 Exotic. I’ve made several dozen runs all without any issues. I was wondering if anyone has run T1 or T2 in a Cormorant and how did it do?
With my current skills, I have 168dps and 5897ehp with this fit:

125mm Prototype Gauss w/Caldari Navy Antimatter
TE-2100 w/ Caldari Navy Scourge
2x F-S9 Regolith Shield Extenders
1MN Y-S8 Afterburner
2x Vortex Magnetic Field stabilizer
Small EM shield extender I
Small Core Defense Field extender I
Small Warhead Malefaction Catalyst I

Any thoughts on how this would do in a T1 or T2?

T1 is doable, forget T2.

And you will need to kite, some spawns you can’t really beat close range, a destroyer gets less speed from an AB and has a larger signature than a frigate, which means you will eat a lot more damage. T1 destroyers are pretty flimsy, I doubt you can win the DPS race against 2 Kikimoras or a Vedmak when brawling them.

Got the nerve to try a T1 in the Cormorant, died in 1 min and 30 sec. That didn’t go as well as I hoped, thought I would at least get through the first pocket. RIP Cormorant, it was fun while it lasted, time to FIT another and go back T0’s for a bit :slightly_frowning_face:

I recommend Aceface on YouTube, he seems to be the go to person on abyssals. I have successfully done his T2 in a Caracal and his T1 in a Punisher. Not everything he does works, so be sure to watch the whole video. He posts his failures too.
