There used to be a lottery for these tech 2 blueprint originals. I’m surprised they don’t do that again and sell them for plex. How much would you pay in store for a Gila BPO or Rattlesnake BPO. I wish the components for that blueprint dropped more by those pirates when you kill them in null. It would make me wish I had more money to spend on this game, and it would give a solid asset to anyone who could afford it. Giving them out in lottery would award players who are active and do research. The mission agent be like, " Hey I have something for you" I’m willing to bet there’s a player out there who collected up all the T2 BPOs.
I’d put them up for auction starting at two trillion.
And I can guarantee you they’d hit 10 trillion by the end of the first day.
Mr Epeen
Ever wondered why SOME groups are so big and have seemingly limitless pockets and titans?
Yeah, that’s why T2 BPOs aren’t a thing anymore aside from what already existed. CCP could tell you ALL about why T2 BPOs aren’t a thing anymore.
My Light Neutron Blaster II BPO turns a tidy profit.
T2 BPOs were a thing ages ago and still will always undercut T2 invention BPCs hence they are still “useful” in that aspect yet for those doing massive industrialist jobs invention and T2 BPCs will always be more useful due to economies of scale. T2 BPOs can never supply enough ships or modules by themselves and after the T20 T2 BPO scandal CCP decided to change things.
I highly doubt theyd ever think of doing T2 BPOs, particularly for Gilas, Rattlesnakes or any other faction ships, again. But dreams are nice, even if you need to wake up from them.
Now what MIGHT be interesting is adding an agent interaction to T2 BPC invention where you can interact with an agent, combining all the T2 BPC invention materials, and get the possibility of unique, better or worse, modules and ships. Something along the lines of combining invention with abyssal rolling through specific agents that would create unique stat BPCs of various runs.
Interacting with mission agents to get a better blueprint might be a fun way to incorporate a whole new line of blueprints for a higher variation then T2. A fun way to make the balance would be to have several tiers of loot: green, blue, T2, orange, red, and purple. Then have an asteroid belt overhaul that puts these little shinney blue roids that you can cherry pick all the way from high sec down to purple null sec. These are the needed things to upgrade your mods to higher tiers. If we could upgrade republic fleet blueprint copies to a higher tier, with level 5 science skills we could have a chance at getting purple loot out of it. Adding this loot to a batch of npcs you just killed, it makes ratting more fun and profitable. If lowsec had orange and red loot, it would become a way more profitable place. Cherry pick those asteroid belts of that orange and red balls of joy.
Thats the only one you have worked up?
Stick to killing players!
