The area next to Arnon is a corrupted zone

That’s what I said. Laurvier is next to Arnon and is the corrupted system, not the newbie system of Arnon itself.

Arnon is protected and a rookie mission system, but I see no reason to also protect systems next to it. A line should be drawn somewhere.

You get a warning when you try to enter such a system, and it has a special icon if you set a route through such a system so it’s hard to miss. You only miss it if you aren’t paying attention to the route or aren’t paying attention to warnings you receive at gates, but if you press jump anyway after being told it is dangerous that’s on you.

Got it - I had misunderstood.

If i pay for a game it’s my right to demand that it is the obligation of the company producing this game to make it a: possible that i can do it and WITHOUT ‘being careful’ at all… b: has the further obligation to PROTECT me from people that ignore this and try to hinder me and remove them from the game…

It’s 2026 and not 2000 anymore…people expect those things today as a certainity…

And it’s the developer’s right to ignore your silly demands, and the other player’s right to mock you for them.

while i’ve never encouraged anybody to quit, i will remind you of your right to vote with your wallet…

If the SOE arc missions send newbies in to (or through) that system then that is a problem and FC should make sure those systems aren’t able to become corrupt. I can’t remember it they do because it was never an issue, but if they do it should be changed.

If you are going the “safer route,” then there have been times when I have had to avoid systems with corruption on the SOE arc; iirc, it was Bei that got corrupted on the way to Hek. For me, it wasn’t an issue, but this then makes it twice I have seen it happen. It’s rare, but it does happen.

Route is set to safer by default, if that is enough to avoid a corrupted system (and not requiring a massive loop around) then that’s completely fine. But I can’t remember if that is the case.

If some newbie changes the route safety setting or just travels around on their own outside what the mission tells them, then that’s on them.

It isnt afaik. Corrupted systems are still on the safer route. Least they are, or were, for me. Not all my characters need safer, some are shorter or Ill swap back and forth. But that is an oversight from FC I think and should be changed if anything.

Like you say, someone manually jumping or whatnot is just ‘Darwin Award’ Lemming behaviour.

Hmm, I normally never deal with HS corrupted systems. Seems I have some testing to do.

No it’s not…at least if this game wants to be more than a niche game which is definitive not enough today…

Don’t you see that multi accounting only covers the reality with a sheet? We are talking about 5k - 10k ‘real’ players with 5 accounts each actual…this is not enough…so the game has to simply step into 2026…

Why did you respond to me?

Do you think anyone still takes you seriously? Wouldn’t it be about time to make yet another alt to post the same drivel?

Not it’s not. Your only “right” is to get access the game as long as you stick to the rules. That means the bare login so you can participate like everyone else, nothing more, nothing less. “Success” is not a part of the deal you made.

Dude…your answer CLEARY shows WHO is the problematic person here…

It’s dripping with hate about me stating truth and you not able to devalue A SINGLE ONE of it so your only arrow left is a flaming one…

Boy this is sad…

A company that rejects the demands of its players is a company that is washed away into the void…EVEN one that had survived 20+ years has to adapt to 2026…

You denying this simple truth shows clearly that the CHANGE is the problem for you and not the welfare of the game…

Boy this is sad…

You are not representing “the players” but a tiny minority of mimimi-clowns that is too stupid to play a game that requires some skill, dedication and attention. Face it, you are too bad to succeed in EVE, thats all. Go for something easier, something that fits your skill level.

I don’t really understand how people still reply to posters like that. Even before I took my several month break I had already clocked them for being yet another new version of the same old same old tiring posters just spamming the same old bait rubbish. So they got blocked.

I come back and half the forum is filled with posts & threads from blocked people, and folks still replying to them.

For evil to succeed, it’s enough that good folks remain silent.

Perhaps, but by doing so you give them exposure and feed them. You’re doing exactly what they want you to do.

Let them believe that. The more exposed they are, the better everyone can see their true face. Given enough time, every single one of them disappears.
