Hi all.

I have been asking for this Wallet safety feature for AGES now…

A simple GREEN or RED safety setting for your wallet, that you don’t accidentally go bankrupt spending 20 BILLION instead of 2 Millions…

I made buying mistakes very often… last time I SOLD a SKINR for 600thousand instead of 600Millions… this is also a problem…. when you sell something for more than 50% less than it’s normal value an item, in this case a SKIN, the market pop up a window asking you if YOU ARE SURE YOUI WANT TO SELL those items for those -90% value… but it’s not there for SKINS…

And when you buy something that is maybe not +90% of normal market value, but it’s more than of 10% of YOUR TOTAL ASSETS POSSESSIONS, a similar warning should pop up…

maybe with also a threshold, like if you are buying something for more than 1 BILLION…. or even 100 MILLIONS… there should be a GREEN SAFETY setting on our wallets that warns us that we are above our threshold…

I have burned one month of Omega with one single market error purchase…. again…

And now I have to ask CCP if it’s possible to undo that market purchase…

for the NTH TIME, PLEASE CCP, Add this wallet warning customizable threshold!!!

Becuase my eyes are old, and I keep misreading a Million isk for a Billion isk, just because I can’t read a comma…

A more consistent margin warning would be nice, yes. someone else was complaining about it the other day already and it’s an age old issue.

“Control your spending” isn’t the issue, it’s fat-fingering in the wrong value or miscounting the zeros. I think it’s a good idea personally.

I Presented here my new Autumn SKINR Line….

I could ask 399.999 PLEX for a Skin, when its value should be 400 Plex, but mistakenly chose Plex instead of ISK as final Value when put in sale…

If I was the unlucky buyer that would spend 399.999 Plexes thinking it’s just 400 PLex, I would be double stupid, because Plexes don’t go on with fractions… so no 0.001 PLex…. BUt I could think that way for a moment of dstraction…. Iskies… PLex… and then I-d have just gifted away 399.499 Plexes and would be completely ruined…

I think it is one of those civilized settings that makes our life easier… like Prevent a ship to jump with Drones or Probes out…. it happens… more commonly than not…

It’s a battle for civilization bluntly put.

It’s the damn comma and dots the issue…. my eyes can’t distinguish them all the time…

you can put a lot of 0000 after a comma and that’s fine…. the problem is if I mistake that comma, which isn’t a comma but a dot…

there I spent 2.3B for a damn Expert accellerator thinking it was 2,3 Mil…

And I also activated it immediately before noticing the Wallet drop of 2+ Bill….

In a Week I went from 20+ Bil to 9+ Bil…

Expert Accel error

Abyss Vedmak Svipul+Clone 2Bil loss

CN Raven LP Store BPC build and fit another 2 Bil loss…

A Black Op Panther + Fit another 2 Bil…

Another 2 Bil in other modules, Ammo, and couple of other Hulls…

With the BPC I should have earned 250Mil by LP normal conversion rate,

and I wouldn’t have purchased a CN RAVEN but a Panther with that money…

Some errors there’s nothing to do… but other’s should be preventable with minor UI

improvements, maybe coloring 0’s past a comma in red… or changing the DOT font to something BIGGER…

It’s far less complicated than coding a threshold warning..

Maybe it can also be already done, changing numbers, dots and commas fonts, other than

zooming all the UI 200X…

15 years in EVE and I still do the same misinterpretation Errors like the first day…

OP does nothing but ask CCP to protect him from his own mistakes. I highly recommend ignoring or muting them to protect you from their lack of good ideas.

OP had this idea 10 years ago and he’s still asking for a consideration,

CCP did some stuff in the meanwhile, so it’s not all worthless, it’s just speech…
