Wardecs have no impact in NS.

You know what I meant!

You know what you are doing stop acting all innocent, your posting style is too evident.

Your previous reply to me was just feelings and rubbish with no justification for your feelings. so not worth a reply, if you can of course justify your feelings?

This thread is now trolled to hell and back, I am out of here at this point, I will wait and see what CCP does with some interest and a certain amount of humour, this will be fun to watch and I think an icon sums it up very well

EDIT: Rewritten due to hurt feelings, the poor lambs.

Wtf is this?

In this thread no, because it won’t actually solve the issue of retention.
It ‘might’ slow down the rate of loss, but they already toss out far more in wardec cost than they can possibly be making from their targets. So there is a reasonable possibility it won’t have any large scale impact on the number of decs made. It doesn’t mean it’s a bad idea in general, but it’s not relevant to this particular issue. Hence not bringing it up.

Retention you have to solve at the state of ‘The wardec has been made, now what do we do to make the non PvP targets keep playing and/or return to the game’

No one is interrupting draw calls for grabbing screenshots. That doesn’t even make any sense.

The stupidly cheap wardec cost for large corps is whats enabling them to overwhelm hundreds of small/new Corps, for peanuts per wardec, and force them to log out with no rational way to fight back against so many.

It makes no sense, that a large/established corp can wardec a small/new one, for a fraction in cost of what it is for the smaller/new one to wardec them in return. No sense, at all.

Inb4 alts of mass wardeccers start trolling the thread and muddying the water.

Even if you reverse the costs, and close the loopholes, they will still declare plenty of wars though.

Also how large are you imaging the wardec corps are…

Lets take PIRAT for starters, with 13 Corps and 240 members.

Dotlan crashes when I try to check how many declared wardecs they have, and on whom.
Can someone source that data?

  • Create social corps that can’t be wardecced, so individual players can group up, become friends (veryyy important thing that keeps players in game), organise and get stronger. There should be restrictions on size, what they can anchor, etc. Once they’re ready for the next step, they can go to full corp status.

  • Increase the war dec fee for smaller corps from 50 to 150M. Decrease it for the large alliances from 500 to 350-400M. Smaller corps will have less wars. Bigger alliances often live in 00 and should be organised enough to defend / attack. And if bigger alliances are cheaper, the focus will move from smaller to bigger.

  • Let the average age of players be included in the war dec fee. The younger characters should be more expensive to war dec. Once the younger chars go negative standings, they should no longer be considered young chars.

  • Every trade hub undock should be invulnerable. This way people will actually have to hunt players, in stead of alphaing them of the field.,

  • Make it way more clear on the main screen, that you are at war (red bar - WAR ACTIVE). Even if it’s something you can turn on/off. Or only show for chars 0-2 years old. I often hear people didnt even know they were at war.

Just some things I have called for in the past. The rest, read it in the war dec document we as a group made.

Why not base it on attackers size and ignore defenders size?
You are creating content for the attackers only with most wardecs, while aiming to deny some kind of content to the defenders, legit gameplay for sure but the costs should be based on that figure (note, I’m sure this wouldn’t have a huge impact)

Skill injectors & alts make me wary on doing anything to do with either age or sp of the characters. That troll corp of 1000 alpha alts for example… or massively inflating your corp numbers with alpha alts that you periodically log in to keep ‘active’ to mess with costs. I can see some serious flaws that can’t be easily blocked, and think this one wouldn’t be very important if you get the rest of that list (in some way).

Anyone can provide PIRAT declared wardec list for this moment?

Costs under 150 Mil to declare war on them, flipping that around even if every target corp was minimum size they would only triple their wardec bill. They can afford it. Some of their targets are almost certainly larger as well, so they might even save money on some of their decs.

Its never been clear where PIRAT gets the funds even for wardec costs low as they are atm.
Aside from CEO himself being busted flying a Nyx bot fleet that is.

Do you have the list of declared wardecs by PIRAT?

You had me until this point, not having you create another 400 alts

Alphas can already be used to mess things up. We’re Eve players. We adapt and use things in ways they weren’t designed for.

Thats me, when someone wardecced during agency spam. One more reason to remove agency spam. :joy:

If I would not check my corporation tab, I would really not know what is going on.

Opsec is a wonderful thing :dealwithitparrot:

Dotlan says:

An error is occured

Image Type/Size not allowed /32

when I try to access their war page.

Is PIRAT wardec list so huge even dotlan cant list it?
