I think you are wrong on that, I have advocated for correct balance as I saw it. Unlimited bumping to me was unbalanced as a mechanic and I think as it is now is fine. Since the timer was added I am pretty happy with the overall balance.
I also thought that the tank of the mining barges and exhumers were a joke, and when they got changed to give options I was happy with that.
I am all for destruction, if it is correctly balanced, and as I have said quite often recently I think it is now largely well balanced.
The only thing I would work on now is making it worth having a structure in hisec, there is perhaps a danger that people will run out of war dec targets the way this is going.

CODE THWARTED AT THE INVASION OF CASLEMON
I’d deployed to Caslemon to assist the EDI in defending against the Triglavian invasion. As the Kybernaughts had also deployed to flip the system and were gaining ground. They’d enlisted the help of CODE to stop the EDI with gank attacks, at it was very much looking as though the Triglavians might succeed in their invasion. Caslemon is a strategic system in Gallente highsec, as it is on a main corridor and home to one of the FDU stations - a staging point for Gallente Factional Warfare operations. Loss of this system would be a severe blow.
However, what CODE hadn’t counted upon is that one of EDI’s newly enlisted pilots, Rorik Banesmith , was an experienced Anti-Ganker - and so while the EDI fleet adopted a policy of non-engagement, Rorik put his Anti-ganking skills to good effect, by deploying his new creation, an EDI Blackbird .
Over a series of engagements, this Blackbird would pull range on the incoming fleet and spread it’s Magnetometric ECM II to incapacitate as many of the enemy catalysts as possible - delivered immediately after the first sign of agression. Rorik would often score between 3 and 4 succesful jams on each consecutive attack. As you can see.

This form of attack (while not inflicting any damage in and of itself) is devastating when employed against CODE ganking fleets. As a jammed ganker faces the prospect of haplessly awaiting their destruction at the hands of CONCORD. Resulting in the loss of their ship without any meaningful contribution to the destruction of their prey. This can cause a marginal reduction of damage output of the ganking fleet - leading to failure to destroy their target. Several EDI ships were saved - and many Catalysts sent to their doom in vain.
Due to these frustrations, along with other classified Anti-Ganking countermeasures employed by EDI, CODE were forced to abandon their efforts and Caslemon is now saved.
