I guessed he was talking about consent age in his country. Here in Spain it’s been 16, 13 and 14 just in the last 15 years. I think now it’s 16… Also there’s an exception and gipsies are allowed to marry at 14, which is uncommon but legal. Used to be 13 but the whole legal liability age was raised to 14 (under minors law) and gipsy community agreed to follow with the marriage thing.

Yiole is right. I was referring to the age of consent. At least it is not Japan where the legal age is 13. When two people love each other genuinely, then who are others to judge?

OK, now I am totally and rollaly puzzled. The thread about the poll of the child and the dog was closed by ISD saying it violated the rules about ESRB and PEGI. I am speechless and don’t know what to do. Open a ticket? Discuss moderation on a thread?

And that goes for parties who like each others as well as those who are opposed in war.
In fact, before, unions were proposed to create alliances between countries, compared to, say, a lack of union being justifiable ground for war.
So, when there would be such a union, war would cease, and would not only be illegal, but not even possible at all!!
It does however get more political than less , granted.

That reminded me of these guns in my city…
They’re 305 mm guns, built in 1898 and are placed on top of the Montjuic hill, by the Montjuic castle. The funny thing of these guns is that, even as Montjuic is by the sea, the guns are all placed to aim at the city… and yes, this was intentional. They were placed there to shell the city in the event of (yet another) uprising.
Actually, Barcelona is probably the most bombed city in Spain, and most of the bombings where from the Spanish army, not foreign armies…
