You know, CASE tool ,

already existed in 1992, when I graduated in systems analysis.

I’m not only qualified to use them, but also, I can design some to solve problems and prevent damage from attacks against my work.

Now, why does that have anything to do with software design, language, hardware design, chips, and I don’t know anything about it and make no sense?
I don’t understand.

It’s like, I would study this for 50 years and still not be able to, but 15 years old kids could do better.
My first programs were before 18 too, not surprisingly, even though with less than 2 KB.
In fact, the program could not be larger than the RAM.
All it would do is load in the RAM, and the processor could not run it unless it was loaded in the RAM.
I don’t remember that it could save files on electronic format.
The only files that it could save were not from the program(s), but from the language.

There is a certain level of awkwardness to these avatars in SC. All the face mocap build in is uncanny valley stuff. Not blinking and eyes animation in this particular video shows how bad it is.

But animation system in SC is not entirely right looking also. When character stops it moves unnaturally, when running it makes this kind of forward leaning somewhat like in Naruto. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Timezone everyone. :kissing_heart:

Yes, the results are goofy rather than realistic… and I kind of thank them to not implement female avatars yet; it would be painful to watch.

Also, good morning LAGLers!

Without the face mocap that they push into the game the face is actually very realistic looking. Well, excluding hair. Also maybe they should make more pretty and handsome variations. These faces are not pretty really, only realistic, textures and meshes are like that…
With animations improvement they could make it look nicer. Sort of GTAO level. I wonder if they have what it takes tho. Animations, character models are first what I would improve when making game like that. Second would be planetary flight model.

Pearl Abyss, now owner of CCP Games, throwed russian players progress, 3 years worth of it, to the trash bin.

Removed all the player data. Total wipe. Even purchase history data.

Well, it looks like it was the Russian partner who didn’t transfer the data and somewhat lost it altogether after PA tried to regain control of the Russian version. Because, you know… Russia!

Have you watched the video, it looks like issue is a bit more complicated. Anyway, too late for anything. Russian players can only restart if they want.

OK, I’m at home and have watched the video and… it makes sense. PA can get out with it, suck dry the Russian whales again and nobody is gonna sue them or stop playing, so… why not just be a greedy bastards?

Kinda worrying to know the real face of PA now that CCP is theirs.

Kinda foreseable end. It isn’t a specially areodynamic design and stress forces easily overcome cosmethic add ons. :sunglasses:

Looks like it’s time to renew my subscription to AI Expert. Oops… to late.

Looks like it is blessed with not enough experts. I wonder when they will start to selfregulate in attempt to reduce death counts from AI going rogue on people.
