Hope they find what’s causing your TIAs! Also hoping they can help you prevent further ones. Rest well and don’t hide your symptoms from the docs - what you experience is important information for them.

Well, I’ve dodged this bullet too!
After thorough testing (CT scan, transcranial doppler sonography in duplex color and a MRI of the head, plus heart and blood pressure monitoring) doctors have discarded a brain/vascular cause and consider that both mouth symptoms and the less common symtpons in the hand have muscular origin. Muscular tension trigger the nerve on the mouth and jaw and occasionally trigger the median nerve on my left wrist, which is in the first stages of a carpal tunnel syndrome.
Since both my dad and grandfather suffered from strokes, I was scared shitless, but I bet that after 5 nights and 6 days at hospital, the doctors are sure about what’s going on with me.
So, I dodged the stroke bullet. Got some new bothersome stuff now with my face and hands. Plus an upcomign carpal tunnel. Plus full bown, diagnosed type 2 diabetes, which so far appears mild enough to be in the land of metformin, pending to see my regular doctor and what does he think about my family heirloom of diabetes.
But hey! It’s not a risk of suffering a stroke!

LOL, meanwhile in Spain the whole concept of frozen meals was the hottest sh¡t in known universe in the 1980s. Microwave ovens didn’t become commonplace until the 90s and my parents still don’t own one…
