I saved 260 GB of space on my hard disk, because the device was using the free space to make a Virtual Memory file on that hard disk, leaving it only 15 GB of free space, still manage to work slowly, but too slowly for comfort.
Those files data was already saved at least once on that new Backup device.

Good morning, lovelies!
At the climax of the hearing, however, he had trouble explaining what was done about an internal FAA study showing that there would be over 15 crashes of 737 Max aircraft with 2,920 likely fatalities if the MCAS system was not fixed. That study was completed over three months before the Ethiopian airliner crashed.
In his appearances before Congress, then-Boeing chief executive Dennis Muilenburg couldn’t explain other internal documents that showed the company was aware long before either crash of the flaws in the MCAS system that lead to the tragedies.
One engineering study showed that pilots would have only four seconds to recognize a problem with the flight-control system, and only 10 seconds to respond to it, otherwise there would be a “catastrophic” crash.
My eyelids are closing, guess it’s a way to say “go to sleep now”. So I will follow. Nighties lovelies!
68 percent through The Bridges of Madison County. As I dive deeper into it, it seems the book is the early 90s version of “50 Shade of Grey”. But it is short and an easy read at 192 pages.
Time for bed.
Good night, lovelies.

I finished reading my book. The ending was real sad. Time to update the book thread.
Good night, lovelies.
I’ll read

there’s actually quite a few Linux distros that come with many drivers included. I only ever had to manually install a driver for the nVidia GPU, and that was done via the built-in driver manager that’s included with my linux mint.
I have a bootable Linux version on an external USB data storage device, however , it has problems to recognize the mouse.
I was also given a mouse to go with it, but the BIOS is likely interfering.
It interferes (or they interfere) against my video card, and the integrated Intel driver on laptops.
I also got a 2nd Backup Slim Plus device for under $80 yesterday, after completing the 500 GB, 455 GB Windows Easy Transfer file on the first one.
It will let me test the encrypted Windows 7 Backup program, associated with the related Restore Backup program, which deciphers the backup file, and save it.
I emailed Seagate, and got this reply:

Dear: … …
Thank you for contacting Seagate Support. My name is …, and my goal is to make you a very satisfied customer today by finding a resolution for you. …, I have to apologize for all the trouble this may have caused and I can not imagine how frustrated you are, but don’t worry …, I’m sure that we’re going to find a suitable solution for this case.
…, if you don’t know the password we only have one way to recover the functionality of the hard drive, sadly this process will erase the information that is inside the hard drive, I’m talking about the factory reset. A factory reset deletes all data on the drive and removes all security settings, including your password. The drive reverts to its original factory settings.
“Please be aware that deleting, erasing, formatting, or partitioning your drive may destroy all the data you have stored within it, which Seagate cannot attempt to recover without cost to you.”
Open Toolkit.
On the Main Menu, click on the device.
Click on the More icon ( ) and then click Reset.
A notification appears informing you that you will erase all the data on the drive and remove your security settings. Click Reset.
You’re prompted to enter your PSID. This is the 32-character reset code listed on the insert that was included in your device packaging. Enter the 32-character PSID. (Toolkit will automatically change lower-case letters to upper-case.)
*****No longer have the insert with the PSID?
You can also find the PSID on a sticker on the hard drive.
You can find this information on the user manual of the software:
Please reply to this email if you need more assistance, remember that I’m here to help, I’ll do everything in my hands to find the perfect solution for you. We will be happy to help you from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Central time, Monday – Friday. We’ve also provided our support link down below in case you would like to contact us at your convenience.
Kind Regards,

I can see you are misinterpreting me and misunderstanding me.
You meant that the password problem with security is on the drive, but it is not.
It is simply with the online account with Seagate, not the physical medium.
Therefore, all the procedures that you suggested about the hardware reset is not necessary, since I already backed up the data on the drive.
Secondly, I bought a second one.
I wonder if I should use another name, or , if I can use another email with the same name.
Also, when I create the account, there is no request for password.

I only have a Backup Plus
Slim +
Portable Storage, which is not a hard disk,
and doesn’t have a PSID number or data you mentioned.
Edit 1:
I also got a new data cable for my iPhone because the connector was too dirty and paid $40 to have the Connector device replaced for a total of $50 cash.
The very same type of cable for around 3 for $5 which may have some other code in it, which may cause undesired results, as if a virus, or the definition thereof, without code in it, or , is it?
( I also saved those somewhere.)
Anyways, I managed to get that cable for 50% of what I used to pay for it, or, I used to pay 100% more than that one, which is 100% less out of 200%.

Also: really? What did they even think they were doing?
Apparently they died of hypothermia… in Iceland. Who dies from cold in Iceland? I mean, the first thing you think about going to iceland is, “bring every piece of warm clothign you can think of”. And yet they weren’t properly dressed, since they died, don’t they?
With 1.3 billion people, obviously the botom of the barrel is going to be very to the bottom.
Be worried, Florida Man. Chinese Tourist is after you!
