In management literature, gap analysis involves the comparison of actual performance with potential or desired performance. If an organization does not make the best use of current resources, or forgoes investment in capital or technology, it may produce or perform below an idealized potential. Wikipedia

Communication gap is not the same thing.
That is the one which is compared to the Communication gap created during the construction of the Tower of Babel. :
As was the case in the biblical
Tower of Babel project,
a communication gap has developed
between the end-user and the
data processor.
The systems analyst is supposed to bridge
this communication gap.
I’m going to sleep. Yes, that’s what I’ll do. Don’t know when, don’t knwo how long, but I will sleep.
Preferably on my bed.
Nighties lovelies!

It is from this song which became a very popular(on 9gag etc.) internet meme some time ago:

It also means that skin with more melanin was caused from a higher rate of that radiation, including ultra-violet radiation.
Enough to cause a metabolic change over generations.
Similar to what it will take to go to Mars.
Venus is another story, although the gravity aspect there can be similar to Earth’s current living condition in it’s atmospheric near orbit.
I’m not so sure about the radiation there, but I would guess it is quite higher.
I got my system book back again to verify a part about when communication is misinterpreted to be used as self-damaging, even if it is meant to be good for society, so as to justify discrediting the author , and wrongfully justify misappropriations of the rights, through false accusation of self-damage.

Skills for the
Systems Analystpage 746
Use of Words: Turn-Ons and Turn-Offs
= - = - = - = - = - = - = - = - = - =
We communicate with words, oral and written. How important are words?
Ask any politicians. The wrong words at the wrong time, no matter what the
intention, and the next election is history. But that’s just politics, right? No.
All businesses are political. And words are important, especially to the systems
analyst who must carefully communicate with a diverse group of end-users,page 747
managers and technicians. what words affect the attitudes and decisions of
your audience?
And it goes on further to detail facts and results related to Benefits and Losses to sell change.
Edit @ 06:45:
_ _On an upbeat note, let’s first talk about words and phrases that appeal to
end-users and managers. Leslie Matthies (1976), a notes author and consultant
in the systems development field, has identified two categories of terms that
influence managers: benefit terms and loss terms. Both can be used to sell
ideas. Benefit terms sell themselves. Examples include increase productivity,
reduce inventory, improve customer relations, increase sales, increase profit
margin, and reduce risk. The list goes on and on. Loss terms can be used to
sell proposed changes. Managers will accept ideas that eliminate loss terms.
Examples of loss terms include high costs, out-of-stock inventory, higher credit
losses, increased processing errors, higher taxes, delays, and waste. Again, the
list is nearly endless. Benefit and loss terms can be used to sell ideas.
_ _Are there other turn-on words and phrases? Yes! People like to feel they
are part of the systems development effort. Avoid using the first-person pro-
noun I. People also like words of appreciation for their time and effort–
systems development is your job, not theirs, and they are helping you. Make
their names and department names a vivid part of any presentation. Most of
all, people want respect. Words should be carefully chosen to show respect
for people’s feelings, knowledge, and skills.
_ _Now, what about turn-off words or phrases? These can kill projects by
changing the attitudes and opinions of management. Let’s start with the oldest
turn-off, the use of jargon. Jargon is important to the analyst and technician
because it helps us communicate with the computing industry and our col-
leagues. But jargon has no place in the business end-user’s world. Avoid terms
such as JCL, EBCDIC, CPU, ROM, and DOS—leave your acronyms in the CIS
offices! This includes the jargon you’ve learned in this book. Instead of saying
“This is a DFD of your materials handling system,” try saying “This is a picture
of the work and data flow in your materials handling operation.”
_ _Other red-flag terms include those that attack people’s performance or
threaten their job. Before you candidly state that the current system is ridic-
ulously inefficient and cumbersome, consider the possibility that an end-user
who had much influence on its development and approval may be in your
audience. Consider threats to job security when you get ready to propose the
elimination of job steps. In other words, be diplomatic and tactful when you
speak.
_ _The remainder of this module will survey specific interpersonal com-
munications techniques—specifically meetings, presentations, and walk-
throughs—and written reports.

To be a space miner, there are a few things you might need: the sun, some lunar soil, a pretty powerful mirror, and the perfect angle.
Mining for resources on the Moon is no longer the subject of science fiction, instead it is becoming a central focus for the space industry today. In order to explore further in space, it is pertinent we find ways to extract and utilize space resources.
In a recently revealed exploration manifest for the Artemis program, NASA laid out a prospective timeline to establish a sustainable lunar outpost by 2028. And a key technique that’ll help make this whole vision possible is ISRU, or in situ resource utilization.

NASA is still aiming for human missions to Mars in the 2030s, though Earth independence could take decades longer. In November 2015, Administrator Bolden of NASA reaffirmed the goal of sending humans to Mars.
It seems to me that it will take longer, due in parts that there are more problems to solve first, not because the opportunities will be lesser.
Furthermore, Earth Independence will not be what it seems to be.
Rather, the more we expand, or, evolve, or improve, that is to say, if we do not devolve, even if it is possible, while it may not be what we want, the more Earth Independent we will become.
I am certain that the dependence on both system will be reciprocal, in whichever factor or ratio it may be related to.
It would be nice to set up more infrastructure on both the moon and Mars before human gets there, so to make it easier to be.
