It’s 4:44 AM…that is 4:44 IN THE MORNING and I suddenly had a craving of a pregnant woman for Simcity 2000 Special Edition. Mind you I’m neither a woman, nor pregnant. But I suddenly woke up in the middle of the night and wanted to play it.

GOG always haves something for nostalgia attacks.

Random fact: “nostalgia” comes from “nost”, home, and “algos”, pain. Thus it means literally “aching for home”.

Thank you, Nana. :man_kneeling: My copy can’t be loaded by windows for some reason. I don’t want to install daemon tools nor WinCdEmu since both of them contain malware. I’ve read on the internet that in Windows 10 there is a tool to mount ISO files. Gotta try that some time.

Every person has their own ideas,
feelings, & thoughts on
symbols in society

we all as individuals have
our own perspective on what is actual
reality. That there is no one set reality
because it’s subject to change and it’s
subject to be based off of all of the
different interactions
that we have every single day of our lives.
And the more experiences you
have throughout your life, the better
understanding you get of what is the
reality of society. Because all of
society and all of our reality is based
off our interactions with one another. So,
it’s an interesting theory to look at,
and we’re going to break this theory
down and look at a couple different
examples of this. Just to start off of
though, one example would be an
engagement ring.
Society has determined that an
engagement ring is a sign of love and
happiness and commitment. By giving an
engagement ring to someone, you are
telling them that you want to spend the
rest of your life with them and society
has determined that the best thing for
an engagement is diamonds.

Now, that was the British society which
determined this, not every society.

The host explains it is culture related.

"How does our identity
form and change over time?

Do our experience and society
shape our identity over time?

@ 8:27
There’s a theory called the
Looking-Glass theory and what it says is
that our concept of ourself isn’t just
defined by who we think we are. It’s also
defined by what we think other people
think that we are. Our definitions of who
we are is more based off of our
perception of other people’s perception
of us. Now, that sounds weird, but really
our identity comes from all these
different symbols and experiences that
we’ve had in our lifetime and
that shapes who we are and who we will
become, so there’s things to think about
when you’re deciding what you’re going
to do in life. Is it truly your decision,
or, is that some other influence from a
different person that has impacted you,
and now is actually kind of deciding how
you are going to take your next steps.
Something to think about there. Hopefully,
this video helps you better understand
this theory, helped you understand
exactly what the three assumptions were
and how it can pertain to our everyday
lives."

I disagree with that :
the concept of ourselves isn’t just defined by who we think we are and that
it’s also defined by what we think other people think that we are.

In other words, if other people think that we are not what we are, it doesn’t
matter what we think we are, it is not going to change the fact, anymore than
they can change what we are by trying to change us, however, not change us into
what we are, or were, but in what they want us to become, or, in what they want
us and hope that we were, by changing reality,
and losing contact with reality.

Perception is limited by facts, and science is a way to improve perception, and find
which part of perception is affected by others, such as if they want to make reports
of crimes seem to be the liability of the person reporting it, when those in charge of the
acceptance of that report refused to accept any report of any crimes,
whether acts of war, terrorism, or ignorance.

In other words, while it is true others may affect how you are, and, if they
refuse to accept the truth, they would commit fraud against facts, and, how they try to
hide it would become apparent, even at the viral level.

I also disagree that:

“Our definitions of who
we are is more based off of our
perception of other people’s perception
of us.”

While it is true that those who pay higher than average wages are also paying
based on what their perception is of who they pay, if that perception
is false, and they are misleading themselves while empovering others,
the definition of who that person is, based on what they think others see
them as, is false and misleading, and the person who sees them as such
may also be misleading others as well.
Now, that works for subterfuge and diversion, however, it is not based
on scientific fact. The fact remains it’s subterfuge,
useful in conditions of danger, to achieve critical goal for survival,
and what is represented as others see it, is not what is the truth,
other than the level of misrepresentation it is actually doing.

The same:
If someone thinks a new virus infection is ok, it doesn’t mean that how they view it affects the person concept of themselves.
That person may still die of the virus or disease, and what others think of it won’t change it, or, how they see it.
What they do will however change it, and can cure it.
If people think and perceive and do not act, or, if they want to change others, and describe others as different than what they are, and based on what they perceive, rather than facts, then, what they do is that they change the truth to suit their needs, and it may reflect in courts, even if fraud, or Nazi (expression) judges.

It’s like saying, let me sell you my ignorance , and capitalize on it, while someone who knows better and has more scientific proof, should be competed against to the point of forfeiting his work and intellectual property rights, so that I can get paid due to my ignorance and make it seem worthwhile.
It’s ok if people die of virus worst than the World War I record, as long as I get paid, and can capitalize against science and make it seem evil science and evil genius, like, criminals.

1 hour later:
Then there is the concept that , the person should have known, so as to prevent damage to others…
As if that would have prevented damage to others, if the person that should have known did know, and what they could have done before from the knowledge they should know should have been used to prevent damaging others, as if some kind of intelligence.

However , if that person who should have known, did know, and their knowledge was not honored, and it was in fact rejected, and other lack of understanding and intent not to help was directed at them, and try to justify damage that was done to them, while refusing the knowledge of the person who should have known, and would be held liable for knowing, while made to be seemed as if not knowing, to belittle them, they would have been right to try to inform the party who tried to hold them liable to know, while they were trying to steal from them, and investigate why they wanted to start the war, and what goals they tried to loot from their military target.

Tomorrow I’ll skip the confinement and will go to my office to retrieve some files from my computer. Since there’s a supermarket nearby, if I am stopped by Police I’ll claim that i’m going to the supermarket. The only risk will be if police patrols the street and sees my inside the office…

…but now i’m off to sleep. Nighties lovelies!
