Today I’m going to bed earlier than usual. I haven’t had a proper sleep for a week, going to work when there’s nothing to do and just keep surfing internet waiting for someone to come in and ask for traveling… heh. We sold two railroad tickets onmonday and thursday, none of them pasengers has been able to travel. We’re in regional lockdown, still can leave home but can’t leave our city without a justified reason… so there go any chances to sell rail tickets, whereas air tickets are just not in demand. And the only prospect for change is my boss having had enough and throw in the towel on the business, whenever that happens… then unemployment and begin pondering whether I stay in travel sector or look for another field. There aren’t many things I can do without an education…

The boundary to space is conventionally accpted to be Karman’s line, at 100 km high. Virgin Galactic is playing bullsh¡t with their Spaceship Two and uses the 50 miles high convention, which is nonsense but they stick to it since their vehicle apparently can’t reach 100 km… 
Bonus: not to space, but high enough to see a black sky… (121 k feet, or 36,800 m)

The measure and measurement of the speed of light is related to the medium in which it propagates, travel, moves, sends energy in / with / through / around, and so on.

His LED didnt emit infrared radiation in the same direction as the emitted light, but got hot in the rear, thats why heatsink was needed. I dont think his LED emit any UV radiation also, so it was not working if someone wants to get any tan, or vit D from it.
Other radiation emitters would be needed. There are some LEDs that are specifically used just for UV and infrared…
But, the amount of infrared radiation that would need to be produced, would be really big to feel like a normal sun, window this size. I think in kW range. That would be generally a heater and light source then.
Cant get more efficient than that, with heating:
But IR radiation would be dissipated in the water in his build. He would heat the water.
Heating with electric current works by absorption, so much energy is absorbed that its then reemitted and absorbed by other materials around, like air, or insulation, or water. He would have to get material thats not absorbing IR, but still scattering the light from LED. The best would be… some gas atmosphere I think. But hard to contain. Earth is serving right but at the big scale. In a small scale the heating elements would need to be placed outside the fake sun, same with UV radiator. For the practicality of it.

Sad day for my profession today, one of my favorite touroperators is filing bankrupcy and shutting down after 46 years of operation. Other than the trademark being born the same year as me, it was a pleasure to work with them, very good and knowledgeable professionals at booking department, very reliable and high quality partners at each destination (their Thailand partner was the best quality/price in the Spanish market, FAI, also their partners at Jordan, Cuba and Costa Rica were guarantee that oru customers/travelers would be happy with their travel). But then, with half the world closed and Covid-19 spreading free, my sector is experiencing a catastrophe.

I’m currently busy because one of my co-worker works for and with the Pope, and he’s just came back from Rome last week, and they are doing fraud against morals and tried to cause me to be responsible for them instead, like a scapegoat, and even hope I wouldn’t be able to prove it to military authorities from NATO, as if they were not organized well enough for that.
